Vox Fabri - Darkness Album (mixed by Vox Fabri)

In Focus this time is Lucas Nassar aka Toadstool, a producer from Brazil. He started studying Ableton live in 2010, and since then he has been experimenting with a lot different and weird sound designs. In 2013 he graduated from Yellow DJ School, further improving his mixing skills. In mid 2014 he started his Toadstool project with the intention of making a dark and dynamic sound without limitations to bpm, full of ambience, leads, striking basslines and a schizophrenic flow. Transforming all the bizarre repression of the system into frequencies and inner freedom, "living the extreme side". This mix titled 'A Tale of Toadstool' contains his performance playing Ableton live, the way he mixes, new and older tracks, also some collabs with other artists and friends. The concept is to provide something that throws everything that is trapped inside us into the shape of music, dance, humor and protest.

Lowell Monteiro aka AMOUX or "happy" with that ever-significant smile on his face. 😊 From an early age, he collected music for his own pleasure. His musical journey began with rock, hip-hop, trance, all sorts of musical genres, but after discovering psytrance, he was hooked!  He was drawn towards the dark spectrum of twilight, forest, and dark psy. When he first started out, he played at small clandestine underground parties in Mumbai and Goa, but with time and hard work he learned new mixing techniques, which enabled him to improve his set and take to the main stage in 2019. His style varies from twilight to dark psy with groovy basslines and super psychedelic sounds and he's also a fan of Techno, playing regularly with his Quantum.Music project. His goal is to take you on a genuine story-telling journey through sound in which you feel taken over by a unique pschedelic experience. He has shared the stage with many internatinal live acts such as Astral Projection, Greg Hilight Tribe, Pantomiman, Fobi, Fungus funk, Whiptongue, Chakraview, Oxidashi and many more..

Music has always been the most effective conductor of my life since I was a child I started playing on the violin first and have been part of several bands at that time. In 2014 I first came in contact with psychedelic music and started to experience myself... soon it became more of a passion and with the help of a few friends I started to produce music in 2016.
The power of sound is my medium of expression, I’m trying to express myself through feelings and visualization of abstract thoughts into matter. My architecture of music is creating and developing deep tones, spooky atmospheres, crazy breaks, sci-fi sounds and organic leads.

The idea behind it is firstly the support of muscians from the underground who should get much more attention then they get atm and the second reason for making this Podcast Series is that I am a really big music nerd (mostly electronic music) and with this podcast it is very easy to life that out (I know as a DJ this is also easy, but for me Djing is more kind of a hobby which I do a bit in my freetime).
