Jeton is celebrating a milestone: 15 years and 200 releases. The label, founded by Ferhat Albayrak in 2009 and based in Istanbul, reflects the meeting culture of East and West in Istanbul for centuries. For years, it has been a base for upcoming new breeds, as well as a respected regular place for artists. From the dawn of time, it has been only Techno, with at least one release per month for 15 years in a row. Now, Jeton has become a place that few imprints can reach, with a monument of sustainability for years. JET200 is an 8-track celebration from our best artists, colleagues, and friends, reflecting our approach to the future. Jeton has also become the biggest Techno promoter in its region, by serving the best possible music and atmosphere available globally. The 15-year celebrations will be started in Istanbul end of summer with great events. We would like to thank all our fans, artists, collaborators, co-partners, and contributors for being with us for all 15 years. Without you, this journey could not have happened. Senso Sounds complies Level 06, one of its periodic collections of new talent, showcasing how healthy the techno scene is right now. Kicking it off is the Amsterdam based DJ and producer Lilly Palmer, whose 'Listen To Me' is a fearsome, driving bomb with clattering percussion and some huge moments. Hamburg native Heerhorst drops 'Prisma', a deep, atmospheric techno cut that displays the producer’s affinity of massive, thick blasts of synth noise. Carbon offers up 'Softly Twisted' - an apt description of the track which teases with a silky groove before providing a slamming, slightly wonky dancefloor workout. French producer Timid Boy’s 'Onris' delivers an infectious melody underpinned with a firing, driving groove. As always with Senso Sounds releases, you get the feeling that the scene is thriving, and there's plenty more of this good stuff to come.

Lilly Palmer - Listen To Me

Drumcode heavyweights Pig&Dan and Victor Ruiz link for their maiden collaborative EP.

The project begun in the first quarter of the year when the artists were still touring and was later completed during a series of productive sessions after lockdown – Pig&Dan members Dan Duncan and Igor Tchkotoua experiencing a creative synergy with close friend Victor Ruiz that injected some lightness into an otherwise challenging time for the trio of producers.

‘Consciousness’ is driven by a catch low-end riff that’s powerful and funky in equal measures and is a particular favourite of Adam Beyer’s, highlighting the boss’ Drumcode Indoors II and Tomorrowland’s United Through Music stream.
