The new Alone With Everybody project by Drum & Bass connoisseur FD firmly solidifies his earned seat in the upper echelons of the Drum & Bass scene. The epic nine-tracker on The North Quarter showcases a new dimension to his sound, having already gained the trust of many essential labels in the past. Serious work has been released over the course of years, producing a balanced catalogue of what FD stands for. This persistent output has grown in both reputation and depth and tells the story of a man dedicated to keeping close to his musical vision.

A veteran producer and DJ in the scene for more than a decade, FD has the ears of a true tastemaker; an artist and curator that understands his audience. Each piece of music has been created with his highly self-critical approach and scrutiny, bringing the best to the fore on this anticipated new body of work.

From the iconic intro with Jazz T, all the way to the closing track 'This Is Now' the EP speaks a solid sonic language with a confident yet emotion and energy-driven tone-of-voice. The collaboration with Manchester-based 'OG' Fox for example highlights FD as a forward-thinking musician who embraces both roots and culture of his loved genre.

It is not a coincidence that FD releases his new work on Lenzman's The North Quarter imprint; a new home for a growing scene of matured musicians still leaving their traces on a Drum & Bass tempo. Taking the initials of his real name tells us that FD keeps close to what he stands for and who he is, directly in tune with the NQ's mission.

Following on from T.R.A.C.'s debut D&B album on V Recordings in 2017 we're really excited to reveal a thirteen track remix of the album: Life In Remixes

Anyone who has ever visited Brooklyn will have seen its wide mix of cultures, ethnicities, and renowned musicians living within some of the most historic neighbourhoods in the world. It’s birthed many great MC's and artists of all genres, one of those being T.R.A.C.

Recognised internationally throughout his career as one of Americas top flight mic handlers, T.R.A.C. has shared stages with an ever growing list of A-class DJs such as LTJ Bukem, Roni Size, and Goldie (to name a few). Whether it’s his silky smooth verses, or his drive to deliver meaningful lyrical messages, T.R.A.C. is artist who has been quietly putting his American stamp on the UK D&B scene. None more so than with the release of his debut D&B album in 2017, Life in Motion, which boasted an impressive list of features including the likes of Calibre, Serum, Lenzman and Bladerunner. Four years on, we’re proud to unveil ‘Life In Remixes’.

The remix project sees another huge roll call, thirteen A-Listers put their spin on the original album including the likes of Benny L, Artificial Intelligence, Need For Mirrors and L-Side. We’ve already seen six chart-topping remixes peeled off as singles, receiving huge praises across the board, including plays on Radio 1, Rinse FM and more.

Villem & McLeod return to Samurai Red Seal for another outing to follow their successful pairing on 'Hush' for the label in 2012 which was part of one of the labels biggest 12"s ever. This time both sides of the record are collaborative pieces and both tunes are overflowing with glistening summer vibrations. 

'Another Star' has been heavily supported by the likes of Marcus Intalex (who debuted it on his Soul:ution Radio Show), London Elektricity, and of course Friction who has been hammering the tune on his BBC Radio 1 show, as well as picking it up for inclusion on his forthcoming Fabriclive CD.
