Low Steppa needs little introduction. Since the early years of this millennium he’s been producing some of the finest bass music around under various guises, whilst touring the globe and rocking some of the world’s best parties – from EDC in Los Angeles to Womb in Tokyo.

His own imprint Simma Black Records is going from strength to strength, with Simma Black releases becoming a staple in many a DJs crate, and with his own Simma parties packing clubbers in.

As well as his solo productions, through several aliases and collab projects like Twocker, Rudi Stakker, Bass Weazal, Dreadstemz, Low Steppa, Punk Rolla, Will Bailey, Low Steppa remains very much at the forefront of the bass music scene, with his productions gaining support from some of the industry’s biggest names including Fake Blood, Martin Ikin, Grant Nelson, Shadow Child and Kry Wolf. On top of which, recent radio support has come from the likes of Toddla T, Zane Lowe, Kissy Sellout and the Wideboys.
With a constant flow of releases and remixes coming, as well as a solid calendar of touring, Low Steppa will be stepping things up yet another level…

Chopstick & Johnjon are both a label managers and production team behind the Berlin’s Suol label. Their mission is to blaze a trail through the international House and Techno scene. And as they say themselves those ten years they worked together seem to have passed in the twinkling of an eye.

Over time, their collaborative tracks started to become slower and more organic. What is today commonly known as Slow House was for Chopstick & Johnjon a natural outgrowth of their passion for Hip Hop and Groove in particular. House music that kicks ass. Behind the decks they form a DJ duo that is always perfectly in sync. Whereas others tend to fire all canons in a single volley, a Chopstick and Johnjon DJ set is like a drawn-out foreplay session, a tease. 

Suol just presented its first and brand new format: “Reviewed”. It’s a regular release, which will mainly highlight and recap some of the sweet spots of Suol artists' extensive catalogues. “Reviewed #01” is dedicated to label originators Chopstick & Johnjon.
