Real Turned On

September 2017, the four of us decided to meet in Cleveland Ohio. This was the first time we all recorded together in a studio. All previous Heephead recordings were performed and recorded in our separate homes, then mix via the internet.
"What you're hearing here is exactly as it was recorded at Blue Buddah Studio,Ohio, just a few hours after we all met for the first time. No rehearsal - we just went in and did it live and in one take, with only keyboards and vocals overdubbed....and both of those were in one take, too. We might work on it more, but we thought you'd like to hear it exactly as it was...an accurate record of what happened that day"

The Heepheads cover "The Thrill Is Gone "

This is a fast upbeat rock tune written by Robert Dreher who was purposely trying to achieve a song similar to one of his favorite groups, Uriah Heep. Bob is also peforming lead and backing vocals, guitar and percussion. Dave White on Keyboards and lead guitar, Mike Fedysky on Bass. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did recording it.

This song was written and made famous by Uriah Heep. We chose to cover this song for a project called Heepsteria2 which unfortunately has yet not been completed. 
Featuring the awesome vocal ability of Bob Dreher on this song really compliments Dave Byron, one of the greatest singers in Rock History. Bob also does guitar and harmony work as well. Dave White on Keyboards and Lead Guitar. Our very own Graham Hulme on Percussion, Guitar, and backing vocals. Last but not least is Mike "Muzzy" Fedysky on his Bass Guitar reproducing Gary Thain's signature style. This was a fun project and we'd like to thank Uriah Heep for the original version. Suicidal Man Cover for Heepsteria2

This song came about because of  Muzzy's desire to finally meet Ken Hensley, a song writing legend and musician he had admired since his love of Uriah Heep began when he was a young teen.
He had written the lyrics and presented them to Bob who in turn put these words to the music. However, Bob wanted to take it to a point where we could make it very "Heep" like, especially with the slide guitar which Ken is known for. 
This song features Bob on Lead and backing Vocals, guitars, slide guitar and purcussion. Dave White with an outstanding lead guitar and his wonderful keyboards. Mike "Muzzy" Fedysky on his Bass guitar. We are very proud of this song and how it had came about. We hope you enjoy this Heepheads tribute to Mr. Ken Hensley. 

Rainbows End

We chose to record this version of "Story in your Eyes" by the Moody Blues  because we are big fans of the group as well as some of our friends. 
This features Graham Hulme on Lead and Backing Vocals, Purcussion, and Guitar.

The story in her eyes

"Rocket Fuel" is our newest song project  written by Aladsair Peers, Graham Hulme, and Andy Cox and was originally recorded years ago by Graham and his bandmates. Graham presented this song to the rest of the Heepheads as a new project and we instantly accepted. 
Be sure to enjoy the great guitar "duel" between Dave and Bob towards the end. Feel free to play this at maximun volume ! :-) 
There are so many parts in this song that Graham had the task of working with 46 tracks in all by the final mix. This song features : Graham Hulme on Lead and Backing Vocals, Acoustic and Electric guitar, Percussion and special effects. Dave White on Keyboards and 1st Lead Guitar. Rocket Fuel

The original version of this song was composed and performed by Ken Hensley on his 1973 "Proud Words on a Dusty Shelf" Album. This cover version was done by Bob Dreher and Mike Fedysky for the first time recording together via the internet in 1999. It features Bob on Drums, Acoustic guitar, lead guitar, synthesizer, and backing vocals. Mike Fedysky on lead vocals and Bass Guitar. 


From Time To Time

The song Pligrim was originally  written and recorded by Uriah Heep. As fans of the band we wanted to recreate this song and we hope you like it. This was recorded in 2007 and  the Heephead players are as follows: 

Graham Hulme - Graham provided the percussion tracks, as well as one of the keyboard (emulating Uriah Heeps Hammond B3) tracks. Grahams contributions were put down 1st, and were all done midi in his home studio in England. 

Dave White - I provided the bass guitar, a rhythm guitar track, and another keyboard track. Think of the additional keyboard track as being the lower manual on a Hammond B3 :-) My contributions were put down 2nd on a Tascam 8 track. 

Bob Dreher - Bob contributions were all the 4 vocal tracks, the lead guitar track, and Bob also provided the final mixing. Bob used a Tascam 4 Track for his mixing and recording.
