After a little break we're back with releases on our mothership "Ballroom Records". As you've probably noticed we've started to new sublabels 'Ballroom Black' and 'Ballroom Purple' to be able to be more defined on the labels' sound!

The original Ballroom Records will go back to it's origins with more progressive and melodic sounds whereas "Black" will cover the Techno end of things and "Purple" to contain the deep, chilled yet a bit tech house base.

Shadow Wulf Records is thrilled to present Misfit from German producing partners Anina Owly and Thomas Klipps. Misfit features 2 original tracks -- Misfit / Lower Back -- with 3 remixes from Paul Neary and Shadow Wulf label-bosses Crescendoll and Drew Blyther. Misfit is Anina and Thomas’s second EP together, and the title track “Misfit” and “Lower Back” will make for their 10th and 11th tracks together. These two are a great partnership, in music and in life. Both have their own distinct sounds in the dark minimal community that lends to their collaborative style. Anina is known for doing all her own vocals which lends to a distinct originality in the tracks. “Lower Back” was created after a trip to Iceland with Thomas´s family where his father complained of back pain saying in German, "I don´t know what´s wrong with me, my lower back is killing me”, which sparked inspiration in Anina. The words sounded so entertaining in English, Anina began singing these words over and over the whole trip. Most of Anina´s vocals originate with stories like this.

HEERHORST is the new alias of Bastian Heerhorst.
Born and based in Hamburg, Germany, Bastian started making music in 1995 with the Amiga Pro Tracker.
Under his alias „Fukkk Offf“, Bastian toured the World for more than ten years. As a well known producer, whose tracks got played by artists like Moby, he remixed Rammstein, Icona Pop, Jan Delay, T. Raumschmiere, Oliver Huntemann and many more.
In 2017 Bastian began to explore new soundscapes in the Techno genre under the hat of his own name. His music is a blend of styles and influences which span across genres from pure Techno to Melodic to Industrial darkness.
He devoloped his own, unique style and performs his productions as a live act or as a DJ.
With plenty of releases on major labels of the scene like Octopus, Stil vor Talent, Tro- nic, Set About, Beatfreak, Pursuit, Tiefblau and Riot, within only the first year, soon the name recognition spread like wild fire with active support by World renowned artists such as Wehbba, Julian Jeweil, Ramon Tapia or Mario Ochoa.
With collaborations and remixes including Teenage Mutants, Citizen Kain, Andre Win- ter, Maksim Dark, Modeplex, I Am Bam and many others HEERHORST quickly became recognized by many and is ready for next chapter.
