As we move into the summer season, we're excited to welcome back Berlin legend Kaiser Souzai to ICONYC Red with 'In Excess' featuring two epic remixes from Mafia B and Justo Perez, Jose Rodriguez & Bias.

Kaiser Souzai kicks things off with the original mix of 'In Excess' which features an amalgamation of driving bass tones, intelligent drum programming, cleverly chopped samples and intricately weaved chord progressions, building to an energy driven breakdown before rebuilding the elements to an unrelenting crescendo of thumping synth licks, chord stabs and an ever-warped bassline. Outstanding stuff from Mr.Souzai.

'In Excess' gets the remix treatment from none other than 'Mafia B'; who delivers a club affair for the ages, utilizing a hypnotizing drum groove as the basis of the track underpinned by a staccato rhythm that pushes its way to the breakdown of breaks before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious groove that fades in and out for maximum effect to smash up any dancefloor. A fantastic remix from New York's Mafia B!

Last but not least we welcome back our favorite Spanish trio to close out the release in style. Justo Perez, Jose Rodriguez & Bias showcase clever programming to create a cunning groove, which really augments the flow of the track. They show their love for melodic and deep FX, which are oozing of coolness and are accentuated by the driving minimal feel. Something like a silky blanket of sonic spheres, which wrap you into an alluring soundscape but kick you in the marbles at the same time. Classy stuff!

Kaiser Souzai's 'In Excess' is a lovely mind-bending collection of tracks that are wrapped in a blanket of driving techno sounds for the underground loving sound aficionado. HEERHORST is the new alias of Bastian Heerhorst.
Born and based in Hamburg, Germany, Bastian started making music in 1995 with the Amiga Pro Tracker.
Under his alias „Fukkk Offf“, Bastian toured the World for more than ten years. As a well known producer, whose tracks got played by artists like Moby, he remixed Rammstein, Icona Pop, Jan Delay, T. Raumschmiere, Oliver Huntemann and many more.
In 2017 Bastian began to explore new soundscapes in the Techno genre under the hat of his own name. His music is a blend of styles and influences which span across genres from pure Techno to Melodic to Industrial darkness.
He devoloped his own, unique style and performs his productions as a live act or as a DJ.
With plenty of releases on major labels of the scene like Octopus, Stil vor Talent, Tro- nic, Set About, Beatfreak, Pursuit, Tiefblau and Riot, within only the first year, soon the name recognition spread like wild fire with active support by World renowned artists such as Wehbba, Julian Jeweil, Ramon Tapia or Mario Ochoa.
With collaborations and remixes including Teenage Mutants, Citizen Kain, Andre Win- ter, Maksim Dark, Modeplex, I Am Bam and many others HEERHORST quickly became recognized by many and is ready for next chapter.
