Any artist is welcome to send us a track via freshonthenet.co.uk anytime between Monday lunchtime and Wednesday evening (or when we receive 200 submissions, whichever is sooner) - and all our moderators, including Tom Robinson, will listen to every track. If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. 

We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud Go tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. You will be able to resubmit the track in future. Tracks (and remixes of tracks) that have been previously submitted, and tracks from banned artists will also be removed.

Christmas songs and the like are also not eligible for the Listening Post, although we will collect these into a playlist that will be published on 24 December.

Autumn slowly gives way to a colder time, a captivating transition in which nature metamorphoses with melancholy. The warm leaves that was dancing breeze gradually to form a crisp carpet beneath our feet. The days grow shorter, offering us longer starry nights. The wind blows more briskly, bringing a freshness to the trees that were once colorful and now stand naked in a delicate silhouette, ready to face the rigors of winter.

For this Episode 2, Ocoeur delivers us a powerfull message made of his own vision of celestial poetry. A contemplative journey to the depths of ourselves, where emotions and memories are our only guide. His highly cinematic universe is reminiscent of an expedition to unknown territories, where untouched nature reigns calmly. Jungle Terror Vol. 1 was the first ever EP on Barong Family, back in 2014. Vol. 2 came out in the spring of 2016. And now, after more than two-and-a-half years of roaming the earth and releasing smash hits like ‘Killa’, Barong Family’s prodigal son Wiwek is back with the latest instalment of his Jungle Terror EP series.
The four tracks on Jungle Terror EP Vol. 3 are the first to come out of Wiwek’s new studio, which he had custom built after years of toiling away in his bedroom. Finally able to get as deep into crafting these thunderous beats as he likes, the Dutch DJ and producer is taking a new leap. Strange rituals unfold in
‘Coco Nutz’ when a marimba-like melody starts leading the dance. ‘LMLOYF’ (work it out for yourself!) could be the secret ingredient that breathes new life into the rave. The percussive ‘Lost City’ has a previously undiscovered species chanting Wiwek’s name, while ‘Ni de Coña’, a collaboration with Mike Cervello, breaks on a wave of oceanic strings before crashing on the shore and continuing the party.
Is this the end of a trilogy? Will the saga continue? Stay tuned.
