had to circle back to this one to soak in all those sounds. That smooth sax is really sweet, as is your voice, which reminds me a bit of Tori Amos here.

You’re the great team, I respect! Wonderful backing track, songwriting and the saxophone!!!

This song started by Morten sending me a snippet of a backing track named Snowflake, which I thought had a beautiful melody. After I had listened to it a few times, I sang a spontaneous chorus (the same chorus that is in this song) to my cat Lumi. I videoed this and you can see and hear Lumi singing with me (she often does that!) :) 

Months passed spent on other commitments and Morten sent me a really cool version of a backing track (this one) and I instantly thought I had to make some more lyrics to it. The lyrics came to me and I sang them as a draft version whilst waiting to finally purchase a decent condenser mic and an audio interface. The vocals in this version have been recorded with the upgraded equipment. I couldn't be happier with this investment! It feels like a game changer to me as I can now trust the equipment and get more out of the vocals. I am very grateful to Morten for all his guidance on anything to do with recording and equipment. 🙏

I was also very happy to hear Jörg was going to contribute with his wonderful, smooth saxophone play and it fits seamlessly into the song, enhancing it further!

I appreciate all kinds of music and go largely by emotion and mood to select what I listen to. Deep melodic & progressive house soothes my soul and through listening to this genre a lot, I started putting some beats together myself! I enjoy the process very much and hopefully I am progressing by the track.

I love making a connection with nature, visual arts and music and often add nature sounds into my tracks. I also find myself listening to all the sounds in nature with a musical ear now.

I have connected with many talented and passionate musicians recently, many of whom also share similar connection with nature which I find so uplifting. It gives me hope for the humanity.
