Tchaikovsky: Nutcracker Suite

From his lifetime to our own, a “Schubertiade” is shorthand for a gathering of conviviality and chamber music that sparkles and delight, all from the pen of Franz Schubert, the composer about whom one contemporary declared, “a heaven-inspired clairvoyant who, as it were, simply shook his most glorious things out of his sleeve.” We’ll hear some of Schubert’s most glorious works played in concert by Heifetz students, faculty, and guest alumni.
