Counting Colours is the third "Various Artist" compilation by KataHaifisch. To explore the colourful world of sounds and music, we invited 13 artists this time, resulting in 10 highly individual and captivating songs. Each song represents a colour and together they form a rainbow-like work of art. In addition the selected titles contains an incredible number of different styles and facets. Counting Colours represents diversity in miniature and has something for every musictaste. We are particularly looking forward to our next release, as it also represents something of a personal turning point in terms of sound.

Our Swiss buddy @planetcaravanofficial contributes two very stable original tracks, which @pullichomba and @at_ric have made their own in a splendid way, in order to give the tracks, which are already very suitable for the dance floor, their own touches.

The title track of the EP called "Circuit Bending" is characterized by a dreamy and bouncy sound that fits perfectly into our loot scheme of the last years.

The second title of the EP "A Glitch" convinces with snotty vocals and a dark groove, which you will hear more often on our label in the future.

As always, we would like to thank all artists involved for the great cooperation and refer to the first-class mastering of Haunted Water, as well as the brilliant artwork by Kilian Van de Water.

New month, new music. Our friends Philipp, Andreas and Andreas, aka Überhaupt & Außerdem and Deep Ändi, worked together on some lovely beats, which they don’t want to withhold from you.

The EP “Directions” is a collaboration between them. Everyone made a track, which ended up being remixed by the other. The concept sounded exciting from the start, and we are happy that the tracks found their way to Vienna. We'll take that as an opportunity to pop the corks in Berlin. That's right Champagne Society. If you don't want to miss this, you should rather be there.

As always, a big thanks to our two silent helpers, Kilian Van de Water for the artwork and Haunted Water for the great mastering.

VERDAMMT heißt die nun dritte Single des im Februar 23’ erscheinenden Albums VERDAMMT NOCHMAL von ACUD. Staccato-Rhythmen stoßen auf vibrierende Klänge, die dem Ruf verführerischer Sirenen nahe kommen. Der Text: ein Anklage, sich dem größten Gefühl der Welt widmend. Dramatisch schraubt sich der Gesang in die Höhe, spuckt den Tanzenden letztendlich aber mit Schmackes wieder zurück in die Woge. ACUD bedient mit diesem Lied das selbst ernannte Genre „Dramatic Disco“ und generiert mit guter Dramaturgie einen emotional-feurigen Moment auf dem Tanzdeck.

VERDAMMT is the name of the third single from ACUD's album VERDAMMT NOCHMAL, which will be released in February 23'. Staccato rhythms meet vibrant sounds that come close to the call of seductive sirens. The lyrics: an indictment devoted to the greatest emotion in the world. The singing spirals up dramatically, but in the end spits the dancers back into the wave with a bang. With this song, ACUD serves the self-proclaimed genre "Dramatic Disco" and generates an emotionally fiery moment on the dance floor with good dramaturgy.

Image design and composition is probably one of the most fundamental forms of artistic expression. This field of art is almost infinite in its possible manifestations. An image can be created with highly complex computer programmes or with the simplest of means. In the digital cosmos, each pixel can be configured exactly according to the artists ideas and wishes. In contrast, impressive works of art can also be created with natural materials such as stones, twigs or with coal. The ability to compose images is as complicated as it is simple. It depends on the artist and his creative intention. The first single by Atric & Frida Darko on KataHaifisch is highly individual and absolutely unique. The song tells a story about the diversity and beauty of colours. Over the course of the 6-minute playtime each colour gets its well-deserved attention. Meanwhile, various synths playing their catchy melodies and create a moody atmosphere, which unfolds its potential on headphones as well as in an open air or club setting. About : 
Remixing two of the original mixes of Constantijn Lange's album 'Liquide' Tony Y Not and Ryan Haeng create their very own interpretations by adding a unique touch each going different ways. While Tony Y Not combines the main theme of 'Barefoot' with a more than mighty bassline she builds up an arrangement made for the dance floor carried by an energetic acid synth. Ryan Haeng slows down 'Three Hundred and Sixty Oranges', adopts percussive elements and transforms the original mix into a melancholic but powerful version making use of a crunchy bass synthesizer rounded up by string chords, goosebumps guaranteed.

The second collection of remix interpretations of @constantijnlange’s ‚Liquide‘ consists of contributions by Arutani, Johannes Ton and Transient Lines. 

Arutani leaves his footprint with his version of ‚Infinite Water‘ combining a housy drum set with the original’s melody section while using a punchy bassline for a 100% dance floor ready composition.

Creating a mood that feels weird in a good way Johannes Ton uses organic percussions and drum elements to add some extra punch without losing track of the vibe of the original mix. 

Vienna’s Transient Lines rounds up the second remix EP of ‚Liquide‘ with an arrangement built on complex drums and heavy basslines painting a unique picture that feels light and melancholic at the same time.

Constantijn Lange - Mosaic (Transient Lines Remix)

After making a name in the last years with various energetic releases artists Heidenreich and ANGST vor GRETA are teaming up to deliver an EP for Heimlich Musik with remix contributions by Niv Ast and I Promised Mom.
Zarathustra is built on synthesizers touched by the 80s and vocal lines with a pinch of Donna Summer. Arpeggio basslines and aggressive snares are rounding up the original mix to create a special vibe of euphoria. Visage is taking no detour on its way to the dance floor with powerful drums and ANGST vor GRETA's signature vocals supported by strong but playful lead synthesizers.
Niv Ast picks up the main theme of the original mix of Zarathustra in his remix and adds spaced-out detuned synthesizers for an extra amount of insanity while I Promised Mom's interpretation of Visage is an evil banger emphasizing all the darkness of the original mix.
