Britta’s new EP hypnotizes, and don’t worry. There’s No Pushing, Only Pulling.

You go “Ah, yes, thank you Noraj’, once this hits. It’s the Cue’s unmistakable flavor to add that element, the cowbell. The breaks and build-ups in Can I’s remix excite the listener and resemble Noraj Cue’s style for storytelling. Fast, dangerous, but still safe ‘cause you’re cruising in the Happy Camper after all. EP is now being released with REMIXED TWO. 'Homework Done' was created together with Dayne S as an homage to Daft Punk and their debut album 'Homework' from 1997. The fact that the brilliant French would actually be “Done” would still have occurred during the creation of the track in 2017 nobody thought. All the better that the musical homage appears now, shortly after the end.For the remix, Ante hired none other than Katermukke artist Roderic, whom he met a few years ago in Katerblau. Accompanied by several schnapps, the Dortmund and the Mexican discovered a mutual love for croissants - since then they have been sending each other photos of the buttery baked goods from Around The World. We celebrate the melodically driving track and thank the French guys for a quarter of a century full of musique fantastique.

These 3 versions of the track Deía do exactly this. And they do it with elegance and fleet-footedness. Even if all the tracks are quite different from each other, so they all circle around the same yellow glowing ball of light in the same solar system. They share the warmth of a fervent sun-soaked afternoon. An afternoon perfect to discover stars and explore little adventures.

The original track from Mira & Christopher Schwarzwalder takes its time before it puts you in your space suit. It guides you into your journey with a cautious hand, letting the engine reverberate at just the right time. It doesn’t matter if we’re ascending or descending through the atmosphere, we’re on the move.

Ruede Hagelstein also takes his time. First, he sends us a postcard with the most beautiful description of his home planet. Later, he begins to fill us in on all the details of its origins and history. All this he does with the guiding hand of a perfectly experienced travel guide who loves nothing more than to share these little secrets and stories with you.
AVEM, in turn, picks us up with his planet cruiser - an old family heirloom – which he has devotedly maintained for years. The sound aboard prepares for the slightly wonky sunrises in his homeland. He points out of the cockpit with bright eyes and whistles „Deía - oh, Deía – we are coming!“

For the 23rd EP on Heimlich Musik, Franz Matthews collaborates with label veteran Johannes Klingebiel and Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist Semodi, delivering two original mixes accompanied with remixes by Random Atlas and Balam. 

"Signs“ is the result of a spontaneous collaboration between Franz Matthews and Johannes Klingebiel which started after a few drinks and builds on instrumental recordings. A powerful bassline and melancholic pads are used to reflect the message of the vocals to welcome the unexpected signs of life in a positive way. 
Evolving from a long-lasting friendship with Semodi, "Law of Attraction“ is an enchanting arrangement carried by a subtle guitar and vocals about rewiring your own behavioral patterns for a more fulfilling existence. 

Chilean duo Random Atlas pick up the bassline and main theme of "Signs“ in their remix while their powerful signature disco sound is magnified by the use of additional drum elements, analog synth lines, and electric guitars.
Balam recreates "Law of Attraction“ as an ecstatic club track based on hypnotic drums while keeping the spirit of the original, rounding up the EP as a whole.

Schtu belongs to those producers who always have a little wink hidden up their musical sleeves. He uses humor and fun as a healing force and embraces all emotion, whether "good" or "bad". It is only logical that he is an excellent fit for URSL, the label that is always looking for a place where emotions and humor can coexist peacefully.
The You Make Me Feel Like is an ode to the melodic genre and the fun a standard 4-chord pattern combined with choppy vocals can bring. Emotions don't always resonate in harmony here; disharmony can be just the right key when combined with the correct patterns and used in the right place at the right time. And Schtu proves that he has mastered this game.
By the way, the third track on this EP, a "Call To Arms", was remixed by the infamous Theo Meier, whom you surely already know from the URSL catalog. Wink, wink.
