Like Telex, Air and Moroder rubbing shoulders in a damp basement, the lead-track flexes its sinewy bassline in slow motion, as vocodized lyrics shepherd the groove into heated, psychedelic pipe dreams. Follow its warped synth streaks and the trail reveals more crumbly, progressively disposing of the foreground elements and disbanding full bars in volutes before its cold, opiated groove falls back into place. The Ganges and the Taj Mahal. One created by nature, the other one by man. Both of them symbols of life, its beauty, and its fragility. They are also elegantly represented by the two tracks that constitute Aron Estocolmo’s debut “In search of Moksha... Or something of the kind”. The EP holds a depth and a musical maturity that is unusual in dance music. Every detail from the the slightest beat on the tabla drum, to the very titles of the tracks, seem to have an idea behind them. 

The first track, titled “The Ganga river, unpolluted once again”, is a homage to the Ganges. The holy river that provides nearly half a billion people with water, is for mankind the most important body of water on earth. The track could be described almost as an impressionist painting portraying its movement. Close your eyes and listen. You might just feel the waves of the river gently rock your body.



The second track refers to the words uttered by Nobel prize laureate Rabindranath Tagore, when he first laid eyes on the Taj Mahal. “A teardrop on the cheek of eternity”. This is a piece of music that intends to visualize a young boys fascination for the rich heritage left by the Mughal Empire. A Country that before colonization held 24% of the world's economy in its hands. Though today a ghost of its former glory, it never ceases to impress.

The journey of Heimlich Musik continues with their third compilation that sums up the current state of art in downtempo music. By featuring a great mixture of up and coming and more established artists in the first two compilations, the third compilation follows this concept. 
Musically speaking, the third compilation comes as a vivid trip from oriental treats, as for example "Mumu“ by the Austrian "Wille zum Wahnsinn" to melancholic slow house, as served by "Youlaike" from Cologne. With a slowed down Indie-Disco tune Patrick Alavi continues the musical trip. Istanbul’s "Islandman" delivers a percussion-driven tool to complete the wide musical range of this collection. The third compilation by Heimlich Musik proves that downbeat music doesn't know any genre-boundaries. 
This compilation is a gift from Heimlich Musik to you, the scene of slow-groove-lovers. But in the first place it is a gift from the artists to you, who made this epic release possible. Thank you forever!
