This is the only way you can feel how each individual element of the music passes through your body and fills it with the energy of dance! Flow Music's self-titled record label returns with a collaborative melodic house release from Austin Leeds and Danko Skystöne, which also features a remix by André Sobota.

The record label focuses on original music with links to the Australian club scene while also arranging remixes from influential artists such as Dave Seaman, Super Flu, El Mundo and Anthony Pappa.

Danko Skystöne is a Melbourne-based artist who is known for his progressive house sound. He is a resident DJ on two radio stations, Global Groove Radio on Insomnia FM and Deeper Realms on Saturo Sounds U.K. In addition to his regular Melbourne club gigs, he is also a skilled producer and mastering engineer with solo releases on labels such as Mindwarp Records.

Austin Leeds is an American artist from Miami who has become a regular collaborator with Danko Skystöne and together they have released their tantalising tracks on Rebel House Official, Sirup Records, Perspectives Digital and Clubsonica. Austin Leeds has also featured solo tracks on labels including John Digweed's Bedrock.

Brazilian artist, André Sobota provides the solo remix on the release in the epic style he has featured on leading melodic house labels such as Global Underground, Black Hole Recordings, microCastle and Anjunadeep.

"Oblivion" is the original track on the release and it has got an uplifting atmosphere with moody undertones. Its gliding synths, ethereal vocal textures and flowing percussion create a mesmerising groove that unfolds with breathtaking eloquence.

André Sobota’s remix of "Oblivion" strips back the percussion to draw more attention to the original's synth parts and add an expansive atmosphere. He also restructures the track so it unfolds with captivating suspense as it builds towards a spine-tingling breakdown.

Austin Leeds & Danko Skystöne - Oblivion (André Sobota Remix)

The mysterious 01FRBL imprint launches a new compilation project titled ‘The Sound of Tel Aviv'. With Frau Blau label boss's Kadosh at the controls, we are treated to a tantalizing mixture of beats and melodies covering multiple genres, all held together with soulful elegance.

Featuring key local artists with the right stuff such as heavyweights Lonya, Niv Ast, Assaf Amdursky and across fourteen tracks, we are transported to the dance floor via disparate threads of groove from indie and deep house, to afro house and techno.

Opening with the downtempo delights of Lonya’s ‘Jaglavak’ and into the eerie pianos of Takiru & Mosko’s ‘Shutter Island’ the vibe is underground and story-like from the off. Lightening the mood, Ido Morali’s ‘To Carry On’ revels in repeating arps and smile-inducing e-moments. Alt Control & Millero’s ‘B*stard’ enters the second phase of the mix with stompy stabs and a rubbery bass to move them all.

Keeping up the wonkiness, Baroth & Nizri’s ‘For You’ is a masterclass in light and dark. Going tribal for the first time, the insistence of ‘Feel Dis’ by Accent marks a seachange in the mix toward the peak night sounds backed up by Aseal Weiss & Omer Bar’s ‘Lights Out’. Heading towards more beat driven fodder the afro house stomp of Assaf Amdursky ‘Eighteen and Ten, Please’ is pure heads down groove.


Softening just a touch, Rafeal’s ‘Perc Control’ does just that. A tight percussive workout which perfectly sets up ‘Remove Yrslf From School’ by Niv Ast, a groovy, spiky slice of late night house music. Rounding out the mix we move seamlessly between genres. Osadon’s ‘Chain Reaction’ is smooth and deep at pace, while Roni Amitai’s ‘Sherry’ has nuanced touches of minimal.
Penultimate track, ‘Algorithm’ is a pure 303 playland leaving ‘Space Train’ by T-Puse & Guy Maayan to soothe the soul and leave the crowd begging for more.
