'Argentinian producer Ric Niels makes his debut on Hicky & Kalo's label Plaisirs Sonores Records with his beautiful track 'Walking In The Woods'. The song is a mix of ethereal synths, groovy bassline and tasty drums. The glorious vocals of Hydrah add a sumptuous aura to the music.

First on remix duty, we found Dmitry Molosh. The Belarusian DJ and producer is famous for his inimitable progressive sound and excellent taste in music. Dmitry represents his country far beyond its borders as one of the most forward-thinking electronic music artists in the world. Here, he created a huge progressive piece filled with trancy melodies and one of the most epic drop we heard in a long time.

Also rising out of Argentina's electronic underground are the elusive duo Analog Jungs. Made up of Claudio Cornejo and Gustavo Ruarte, Analog Jungs was born out of a love for rhythm, groove and melody. The duo is back on the label after their successful release of 'Landscape' with Oliver & Tom last year.

To close out the package, there's an instrumental version of 'Walking In The Woods' for the DJs uneasy with vocals.

Ideal Audio presents the fourth and final instalment of Oliver Huntemann and Dubfire's seminal ELEMENTS series. These techno heavyweights have worked together on numerous projects over the years, but it is their Elements collaborations that have shone impressively as a complete body of work. AGUA is the final piece of the music puzzle and completes the series that first saw the light of day back in 2010 with the scorching FUEGO.

2011 brought us TERRA, firm and powerful with its devastating breakdown. 2013 saw us breathe in the mystical AIRE, harnessing the elements of the previous tracks to build a fresh and magical moment. AGUA, as its name suggests, flows effortlessly, helped in no small part by the sultry vocal of Xenia Beliayeva, but kicks in equal measure.

Signing off in such style has also lead to Ideal Audio drafting in some heavy weight talent on the remixes. Carl Craig, under his C2 moniker, dives straight in to strip the original to its core. A single drum beat, siren, clap… and then the kick. Petar Dundov twists the original’s elements into a bubbling acidic stream that washes over us. An impressive package for an impressive finale!

A track that confirms quite the opposite.

For ATL014 we head to the sprawling sunny metropolis of LA as talented duo Speaking In Tongues mastermind a stunning 3 tracker, assisted via Buenos Aires with a remix courtesy of Santiago Garcia.

Speaking In Tongues have greated something truly special with 'Passenger' drawing you in from the first bar through a focused 4/4 groove and deep edgey undercurrent, giving a sense the music can erupt at any point. Focus is drawn to the vocal as the intermittent cry of 'Pasajeros' meets crashing resonating percussive beats. The dancefloor moment is sustained by a deep overhead bass bombardment and hypnotic groove that will have you hitting the loop button for repeat plays.

Santiago Garcia provides a dramatic remix, pitching the bpm down to focus on the percussive tribal elements and melodies, letting the stunning 'Passenger' vocals shimmer and take over while giving listeners a a real sense of space.

Uplifting closer 'Twenty Nine Palms' transports listeners to a far off mystic land as Speaking In Tongues weave their sonic patterns through swathes of tasteful analogue sounds, revererating vox and undulating bass over crisp hats.

Speaking In Tongues are Los Angeles House and Techno duo, Miguel Angel and Philip Anthony. The pair have released music on their own label 'Eternal Order' plus the likes of Motek, Clouds Above and Chilli Mint.

The recent Speaking In Tongues remix of Kauf featured on Kölsch's BBC Radio One Residency, and originals like 'Hear Me' featuring Cari Golden have had live plays from Damian Lazarus, Sasha, Lee Van Dowski, Herna'n Catta'neo and BOg.

It is almost unbelievable but @katermukke's 200th release is knocking on the front door. In the past eight years we were 200 times taken by the hand and sent on a musical journey. For 200 times did big artists, small artists, newcomers and old stagers find together at this musical hotspot. In that time of 200 releases did not only faces, looks and sound carrier change but also the Sound of Katermukke adapted to the times. Still did the musical quality always stay constant. The affectionate curation of label boss @dirtydoering did accompany us through many changes and phases of life, but never failed to delight us. Therefore did he not miss out to team up with a close friend and talented musician to create the jubilee release. @einmusik and Dirty Doering did so with "Centaurio" to write a subtlety developing piece, which conveys a dreamy character in combination with a touch of rave. "Athene" by Einmusik is heavy and convoluted Techno, that goes pretty deep via a kind of 70s scifi synth line. Finally did the boss solely get into it to revive ancient myths with his track "Herakles" via a pithily bassline and atmospheric but mysterious Vocals. After such an astonishing EP there is only left to wait and see what comes with the next 200 releases.

trndmsk: What inspired you to produce the track?

Dirty Doering: We started working with new plug in. It looks like a Commodore c64.

Where did you record it? And how?

We worked at the Einmusika studio in Kreuzberg. Some analog mamchines like moogsub 37 or roland tr-8s and with the software logic pro.

How did the collaboration with Einmusik come about?

We are working for a long time together. After the cooperation for tracks "Lucid" and "Toyi Toyi", we did a new one. Keep going!

Its release number 200 on Katermukke. What does that do to you?

200 hundred release in the last 8 years. When i started with Katermukke, i’ve never expected to get so many releases on the label. I’m really happy with that.

If you look back: What were the most beautiful moments with Katermukke?

There were so many beautiful moments. A lot of showcase at Katerblau in Berlin and around the world. From New York, Turkey, South Africa, Egypt, Mexico, Libanon, Europe to Sydney. Too many for one special moment.

What’s up next after the release? What's next on Katermukke?

The next big thing is the album of Paji on Katermukke in December.

Are you working on any other projects?

I’m working on new tracks for 2020. Also some cooperations with Einmusik and Nicone. Be curious!

PREMIERE: Spieltape — All Of You (Oliver Schories Remix) [Highway Records]

After their incredible "Zodiac EP" on Heinz Music last year, Space Food is back with another banger. "Our Time EP" takes us on a travel with four original tracks packed with energy. The title track takes the lead, and the pumping groove rises along the catchy synths that are accompanied by a mystical vocal. You can really see yourself on a dusty dance floor in a forest, completely losing yourself in the soundscapes created.
"Back Around" has a more playful yet sinister vibe to it, with spherical synths tripping and colliding, creating big moments throughout the track. Thirdly we are introduced to "Saturn". A nicely laid out groove constructs the frame for a melting pot of emotional melodies that lead into the big break.
Last, but not least, we move to the track "Zinger". It immediately strikes you as a bit more percussive tune that still gets riled up by massive synth swirling around until the ultimate release of the drop. Space Food has delivered a wonderful EP yet again, no doubt this 4-tracker will put them on the map for 2020.

With a super analytical and critical thinking mind, he is not only passionate but obsessed with giving attention to detail and flow. Uday focuses on experimenting with new unique sounds, bold track selection and smooth mixing skills, thereby surprising and keeping his crowd connected with the whole vibe. His sets are more of a progressive spiritual journey than a flatline, which leaves the crowd elated with positive energy.

Apart from DJing, Uday has a collective that comes together to create interactive sensory experiences that involve music, 3D projection mapping, interactive kinect visuals, light installations, glow art, graffiti etc. The idea is to stimulate different parts of people’s brains and open up their minds to feel something unexpected and new. Having travelled to many big festivals and gigs all over the world, Uday felt the need to introduce and make people experience the underground side of music in his country, India, the way it should have been done.
