Two tracks from Subjoi forge the A-side, the vibrant yet moody “Make Me” taking the A1 slot and spacy, hi-hat bonanza “Doin’ Fine” at A2. And influenced by the bass-heavy vibrato of 70s funk, Ricky Razu kicks off the B-side with the infinitely groovable “Reaching Out,” followed by the sultry cut “Moonlight Jam” to close out the album.

After reaching 100k subscribers on YouTube, the channel Houseum cross over to the next step with the launch of their new label Houseum Records.

Their first release ‘The Four J’s’ features four bumping house tropes from channel regulars Bellaire, Subjoi, Gavinco and Jesse Bru. This release represents the achievement of the work done on the channel by releasing four tracks with four differing, infectious vibes.

The A side begins with Bellaire's 'Oh' which is a club driven house track with a catchy loop and sensual vocals built for summer dance floors.

Detroit Swindle - The Break Up

Heist Recordings was founded by Dam Swindle as a means to gain full control over their own releases, and to create a stage for likeminded musicians to showcase their music. From the first release on, Dam Swindle’s “Break up to make up” EP in summer 2013, Heist has been a go to label for proper underground house and electronic music. Now, nearly 40 releases and 5 compilations in, Heist has brought forward artists like Frits Wentink, Nebraska, Adesse Versions, Fouk, Kassian, Nachtbraker and Alma Negra and continues to search for new talent, with Lars & Maarten fully focused on the A&R side of the label. 

Up till 2016, remixes on the label have been solely done by other original Heist artists on the yearly “Round up EP”, where the remixer and remixee get connected by the luck of the draw and a limited edition double pack is put out. After that, Maarten and Lars decided it was time to add remixers to the EP’s as well, which saw interesting collaboration, expanded the label family with names like Matthew Herbert, Tom Noble, Pépé Bradock, Ge-ology and Byron the Aquarius. 

2019 will show a whole batch of new artists like the amazingly talented Dutch up and coming artists Perdu and Makèz as well as new releases from label residents like Fouk and Dam Swindle themselves
