Ivan Lozano is Joint4Nine a dj producer, sound engineer, Nómada Records and Ritmo Terco Co founder from Bogotá (Colombia). He is also half part of Rush City which is his b-side project as producer alongside his label mate Jonahlo. In december 2017 he put out his frst official release as Joint4Nine with 7th Chords, Cigarettes & Rum” on Nómada Records and In 2019; since there He has been relesing music constanty on labels such as Ondulé Recordings, Broken District, Fate And Fiction Recordings, Sengiley Recordings, GLBDOM, Forbbiden cutz, Sundries, Apparel Music, Apparel Wax, Masterworks Deep Cutz, Morris Audio All Being Here, Berlin House Music, Inhale & Exhale, Back Door Records and Blur Records. He loves the old school and eclectic sound from 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, so you will find on his productions and dj sets a heavy influence y House, Deep House, Techno, Tribal, Disco, Pfunk, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acid House Broken Beats, Dance Punk, Afro and Highlife. 
In 2014, 2015 and 2017 He had the chance to tour around México by playing in different cities and important venues and clubs from there. He also has produced parties and shared decks with artists such as: Iñigo Vontier, Los Mekanikos, Andre
VII, G-tronic, the Phantom Revenge, Jeremy Glenn, Pat Lok, Moullinex, Xinobi, Bufi, Cherokee, Kartell, Go Go Bizkit, LSDA, Julian Sanza, La Royale, Tensnake, Bit Funk, Mickey, Shit Robot, Alejandro Paz, M.A.N.D.Y, Ninetoes, Salón Acapulco, Zombies In Miami, Psychemagik, Rodion, Munk, Brame & Hamo, Nachtbraker and Mijo.

The Essential Mix is a weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1 currently broadcast between 0:00 - 2:00 AM UK time on Saturday morning. Originally broadcast on 30 October 1993, the Essential Mix features contemporary DJs and music producers of electronic dance music. The show has been presented since its inception by Pete Tong and features an uninterrupted two-hour mix from a different artist each week, overlaid with occasional continuity announcements delivered by Tong. With a broadcast run in excess of 25 years, the Essential Mix is one of the longest-running programmes in the current BBC Radio 1 schedule, and is one of very few Radio 1 shows which is not broadcast live.

Heist Recordings was founded by Dam Swindle as a means to gain full control over their own releases, and to create a stage for likeminded musicians to showcase their music. From the first release on, Dam Swindle’s “Break up to make up” EP in summer 2013, Heist has been a go to label for proper underground house and electronic music. Now, nearly 40 releases and 5 compilations in, Heist has brought forward artists like Frits Wentink, Nebraska, Adesse Versions, Fouk, Kassian, Nachtbraker and Alma Negra and continues to search for new talent, with Lars & Maarten fully focused on the A&R side of the label. 

Up till 2016, remixes on the label have been solely done by other original Heist artists on the yearly “Round up EP”, where the remixer and remixee get connected by the luck of the draw and a limited edition double pack is put out. After that, Maarten and Lars decided it was time to add remixers to the EP’s as well, which saw interesting collaboration, expanded the label family with names like Matthew Herbert, Tom Noble, Pépé Bradock, Ge-ology and Byron the Aquarius. 

In 2023 we've celebrated 10 years of Heist Recordings. The year showed a whole batch of releases by new artists like Byron the Aquarius, Amy Dabbs and Cinthie and by Dam Swindle themselves.
