Over the past year, the young producer and DJ has demonstrated his talent for channelling bassy UK flavours into his own productions which have had support from the likes of Riz La Teef, Bakey and Frazer Ray. A marvelled string of self-releases has highlighted his ability to sit amongst some of the most prominent names in the scene. 

On Sight is a solid example of how Ghoulish’s ability allows him to think outside of a standard structure and delve deep into broken rhythms and swinging percussion. Punchy basslines and whaling sirens are guaranteed to energise any raver on the dancefloor. Complex arrangements combine chaotic percussive patterns with vocal jitters and fine sample work, once again showcasing this prodigy’s talent. 

Firmly cementing himself as an integral part of the UK bass scene, On Sight is a step forward for Ghoulish as he climbs the ranks as one of the most talented artists in the game.

Heka Trax' latest outing is the 'Ember' EP from Glacci, a four-track collection of technicolour club music steeped in history. But this doesn't look back; rather it pays its dues to what came before, taking the foundations of eski and grime, transposing them into something ahead of its time. With its tumbling synths and rapidfire percussion, "Gloomy" is simultaneously cerebral and club-friendly; perfect for just about any DJ set.
