Unser Freund Manolis, Glitterboi hat in Anlehnung an die goldenen zwanziger Jahre – nach eigenen Aussagen – bereits vor zwei Jahren die Glitzerzwanziger eingeläutet. Nebst seiner Vorliebe für Baguettes und ausgefallene Outfits, hat er mit einigen anderen unlängst eine Veranstaltung aus allem, was wir mit den Zwanzigerjahren in Paris verbinden, gemacht: La Bohème ist verrucht, viel zu schick und hatten einen starken französischen Accent. Alles andere bleibt vorerst geheim. Aber die Crew dahinter will ganz bald schon von sich hören lassen. Uh lala – tres passionnant.

✍️ Leicht verkartet und in der kalten Jahreszeit insbesondere, fällt es schwer sich aufzuraffen. Wenig Tiefschlaf und bleierne Leere im Kopf, tragen ihrerseits wenig zum produktiven Tagwerk bei. Doch es gibt Aufgaben, die können nicht weiter aufgeschoben werden. Gewisse Pflichten erfordern die volle, zumindest die bestmögliche, persönliche Leistungsbereitschaft. An diesen Tagen und unter solchen Umständen kann es dann schon einmal länger dauern. Das aufraffen, das verrichten der Aufgabe selbst, einfach alles was Energie benötigt. Doch wie schwer wir es uns auch manchmal selbst machen, mit einem disziplinierten Kraftakt wird es schon gelingen. 

🎵 Der heutige KataHaifisch Podcast ist mal wieder einer der gemütlichen Sorte. PULLI & CHOMBA lassen es für diese Ausgabe ganz entspannt angehen. Ausgeglichen und ein wenig verträumt fließt ein Track in den anderen hinein. Wo der eine endet und der andere beginnt, wird zu einer Frage der Perspektive. Aus vielen kleinen Einzelteilen entsteht ein fluides großes Ganzes. 

Dieses Set ist wie dafür gemacht, um sich an einem gräulichen Wintertag doch noch etwas Farbe abzuholen. Dankeschön für diesen Moment ❤️

Octo Friends #50 - Josy5

It was mid-January in the witch’s forest, and after the floods came the sudden cold. It was freezing day and night, and the nymph’s pond was covered with ice. And after the first snowstorm since 3 years, the whole forest was covered with an immaculately white carpet of snow. Everything had gone silent.
But the next day, the sun was finally shining and despite the subzero temperatures, Hekske (the little witch) and Falke (the 10-year old witch apprentice) decided to take a dive in the nymph’s pond. While making as little noise as possible, they broke the ice and waded into the crystal clear water. Despite the cold, the water felt as pleasant and revitalizing as ever.
Meanwhile, Lalita (the Asian nymph) was already preparing a delicate massage oil in her little cauldron using spices from her home country of Sri Lanka.  She had prepared the oil according to an old ayurvedic recipe which had been passed on from nymph to nymph for over 2500 years.
By the time the massage oil was ready and had cooled down to the ideal temperature, the witches had finished their bath and Hekske lied down on her belly on a comfortable soft bed of moss, waiting for what was about to come.
Given the freezing temperatures, Lalita didn’t waste much time and poured the first few drops of the warm ayurvedic oil on the little witch’s legs, after which she gently rubbed the oil into her soft skin, while the sophisticated scent of cinnamon and cardamom spread through the forest.  The massage oil quickly warmed up her feet and legs, until her whole body was glowing while her mind slowly drifted away in a state of deep relaxation. 
Strangely, the air on her skin gradually changed from ice-cold to tropically hot. And the quiet winter forest was suddenly lush and green and bustling with life. The little witch listened to a spellbinding concert of unknown song birds, like the yigüirro and the quetzal. And in the distance she heard the calming sound of the Nauyaca Waterfall. This place felt like a true garden of Eden.
Meanwhile the massage was still going on, deeper and more soothing than ever. While still keeping her eyes closed, Hekske was trying to figure out who was massaging her now. She tuned in to the energy field of the man who was giving her the massage. Never before had she felt so many different layers of energy, each layer deeper and more sophisticated than the previous one. Finally she connected with the purest energy she had ever felt, while her whole body and soul drifted towards complete ecstasy. This massage touched her to the deepest part of her soul …

Today we are present the resident DJ on the famous Planet Ibiza label and platform Josy5. 
He passionate about all genres of music (except heavy metal :D) since 1980 and especially by house and German electronic music since 1988, became a vinyl dj between 1990 and 2000 in the forests and fields of South of France.
Downtempo, mid tempo, taking pleasure in mixing different genres, he creates podcasts, improvising most of the time (a way of reconnecting with his origins as a vinyl player) but with the ambition of creating a story, a kind of unique performance, impossible to do again even by himself, because the adrenaline of playing (without headphones most often) is what makes him vibrate, after of course the pearls that he discovers every day of his life, and which are the basis and the things to applaud well beyond one's own performance.

born in the fabulous year of 1972 in south west of france.
Passionated by all sounds since child (always berlin in first ! kraftwerk , nitzer ebb...& also london or paris or US house & rap) 
I became a vinyles dj in 1992 in nature , forests, private parties. Educated by Dj Nerate (UK) from famous Spiral Tribe team, i'm  proud to have been a part of these first influences @ early times of techno movement in france with very small audience (but high quality^^^ones  at the beginning , playing house, hardhouse, techno, hard techno, trance , psytrance... sharing the sound in thailand koh phan gan (92 to 95) & goa beaches (92 to 97) , jungle or breakbeat, during 10 years
After a break of 20 years..I came back on the desks , that time on digital materials from summer 2022 & at 50 years old..(!!) 
I like to improvise with all the avalanche of new stuff that i hunt & receive  each day from some precious friends.
Downtempo or midtempo (even high tempo), house, slowhouse, deephouse, hip house, electronic , deep beats,psytrance or chillhouse & even sometimes with melodic or else .
My singularity is to play without headphones most of time (it guaranty for me the essence of the energy of improvisation..)
My eclectic knowledge & my singular way to mix make my personnality , groovy & Deep most of time.
