Kniteforce Prime is a new label from us that is representing the proper early souns of rave music from 1990/91. When we decided to start this label, with his style, we knew exaclty who had to be on the first release, someone who has been championing that early rave sound for a long time, Innercore! This whole ep is exactly what you would of heard lost in a field, back in the day! Bleeps, bass, pianos & breaks! This sound defined an era, the whole rave movement was built on this so we are so proud to be putting this musiv out today, in the 21st century, were it still sounds just as fresh as it did over 30 years ago.

8205 is back in 2022 with two records by an absolute legend of the scene - Bizzy B! One of the best, most distinctive and fiercely independent producers of the jungle/dnb era, Bizzy’s production chops are still the stuff of legend. The tracks on these EPs aim to showcase two different but equally important sides of Bizzy’s music: one more dark and experimental, the other upfront, slamming and jungle-oriented. 

Bizzy B - “Close Your Eyes” [8205-015] features three rough, raw and experimental tracks written on Amiga back in 1993, The title track, “Close Your Eyes” features some of Bizzy’s most intense and frantic breakwork ever (which is saying a lot!), and deep, dark, melodic elements that perfectly capture the vibe of the time. On the B side, “Darken My Lines” is a more straight ahead party stormer, with frantic beats, scratch samples and mental hoover twiss-ups (not a million miles from his classic tune “Twisted Mentazm”).  Finally, “Race Of Life'' finishes the record in a very different fashion. Far from a dancefloor number, “Race” is one of Bizzy’s most understated and experimental tunes of the era, taking his usual elements and transforming them into something haunting, deep and almost ethereal sounding. Very unique, and unlike almost any other tune of the era.

"Close Your Eyes" will be for sale June 17th, 2pm UK time on https://8205.bandcamp.com, available as either coloured vinyl or more limited black vinyl, with full black and white picture sleeves. Hi All, 

Announcing my new upcoming EP “Projection Palace” on my non-label; OMOTT, short for On My Own Terms/ Time. As this is going to be a self release and I'm not sure how many of those there will be and seeing as how I wanted this project to reflect a certain theme, I thought that this actually is the first project I'm doing from a-z. Hence the name for "On My Own Terms/ Time", meaning that while I try to do a 100% what I want and how I want it, I also have to balance it of the back of other jobs/occupations.

Background story:

A1: Projection Palace (Reflections Mix)The title refers to the central theme of the ep which refers to a psychological principle of “projection”, whereby you project certain (negative) qualities onto others without them being necessarily right.
Quite often the projections say a lot more about the person who’s doing the projecting rather than the person on the receiving end. 
This track is a journey, owing to tracks like Massive Attacks’ “Unfinished Sympathy”, trying to make a lot of breaks work together and fuzzy warm Korg sounds.

A2:  the title “Micro Expressions” refers to tiny little behaviours that give away moods and can function as cues as to what is really going on, but then in interpreting these little things we have to rely on projecting what someone else might be feeling. 
The tune itself was simply a bunch of programmed beats from single hits with a upbeat rave stab, some G-funk style strings, a bell melody inspired by old Plaid tunes , a slapping bass and the vocal sample which brings about nostalgic rave vibes .

B1: OIC. 160-jungle-footwork-4/4 track which is all about exploring punk ideas and all the alarms, glitches and bleep textures and boastful bass sounds. The title came from a film called “Breakfast at Tiffanies” and can be heard at various places throughout the track as well as some samples that clearly deal with some form of judgment (everyone expects a bad penny to turn up sooner or later” and “get stuffed”.
Taken from “Frenzy” directed by Alfred Hitchcock).

B2 Projection Palace (Night Terrors Mix)  A reprise from the A1 track, this Night Terrors mix is a rework of the title track.
Higher in tempo, more aggressive, ravey and a true walk down memory lane at it’s darkest.

Clip of a thing started earlier today, no whistles or bells yet. Break-switchy 1994-ish influenced kind of thing with 808 subs as usual, I don't really do (or particularly like) 'exciting' bass sounds sorry.
