Helena maintains its ultracurrent winning streak with an EP fresh out of Madrid, showcasing Pohl's refined palette of classic drum and synth sounds arranged and mixed in a contemporary way. The forward drive, tricky drum fills and squiggly lead lines in 'FVT_02' and 'Obbysm' on the A make this side the first-glance floorfiller. But don't discount the breezy nostalgia and house chords of 'Safo The Shadow' or the stepping electro spacewalk of 'Oddysse' on the B.
