N!GHTvisiøn & DudePlaya - THE VOID (Super Slowed + Reverb)

Palinopsia is one of my most experimental tracks so far. 

I wanted to move away from the usual four-on-the-floor, so I built the track around a foreign vocal and a heavier, shifting kick pattern that feels more like a pulse than a fixed grid. For this track, I've done a lot of sound design, working with delays and a variety of weird Ableton plugins to create blurry, lingering textures. These sounds “sticking around” made me think of after-images, which led to the track's title: Palinopsia.
