Despite cultivating a distinctly 70's sound, Front Facing Arse released their first EP, the self-titled Front Facing Arse in late 1997.  The dated sound made it hard for FFA to find a fanbase in the states, but they gained a considerable bit of notoriety in the London underground punk scene.  Known for their raucous anti monarchy lyrics, FFA commonly incited some of the most dangerous circle pits in the scene.  Though their first EP was followed up by a full length record less than a year later, Front Facing Arse would never see the success that some of the other Demon Hunter's Club artists would go on to enjoy.  Despite this, Front Facing Arse is still considered a classic of the genre.
