For this 63th Premiere of 2021, we have a track by Techno DJ and producer Nino Šebelić entitled ‘Stunner’ from the upcoming Compilation "Aurora Introduces: Serbia" [AT004] on the techno record label founded by a group of artists in Europe in the beginning of 2020 : aurora.

Release Info :

The aurora. label continues to connect people through music with a new compilation focussed on the underground sounds of Serbia, as compiled by Nino Sebelic. This eight track EP features music from Brutalists, Overtone Funk, Subotika, Nino Sebelic, Ontal, Alavux, Filip Xavi and Wb41.

Through its releases, aurora. explores country- and city-specific techno variations and makes bridges between these different creative enclaves, forming bonds between artists and listeners and giving a voice to the more unknown and unusual scenes out there. So far the label has turned heads with a Europe-wide compilation, then a collection of meditative music entitled Morning Rituals Vol. 1 before a recent France focussed selection. Now it is to Serbia, a country with a rich history of techno.

Nino Sebelic then goes solo on the 'Stunner,' a big, powerful wall of techno with huge hi hats and a hypnotic lead that takes you deep down the rabbit hole.

This is a widescreen view of the Serbian scene that brings together talents old and new for a fine showcase of the country's rich techno sound.

Nino Šebelić is Techno DJ and producer from Serbia. As a teenager, Šebelić was influenced by the visionary work of Kraftwerk and the early electronic productions from the birthplace of techno – Detroit. In beggining it was mostly about DJing in legendary club Lifka in Subotica that worked until 2006. Discoteque Lifka closed its doors in 2006 so Nino wit his partner in crime Mario C.  aka Motorcity started project “Subotika“ and  appeared on Motech Records in Detroit wit EP 12“ Influence” Shortly thereafter he produced soundtracks for Graphic Novel “Johhny Gambit” for comic artist and Pure Sonik label owner Alan Oldham aka DJ T-1000. In 2013 Alan Oldham connected him with TJ Hicks, label head of Minimalsoul™ label from New York based in Vienna. This led Šebelić to his first solo (12”) “Bad Government“ and second EP on MSR “End Of City” inspired by Brutalistic architecture in New Belgrade what was reason to start perform in Vienna, Belgrade and Skopje in Macedonia. Also published his first electro “Jupiter” EP on label Pomelo from Vienna in 2019.  At the moment “Press Enter” EP is out March 2021 on Yoshi_Records from Vienna. Well known for his variety, Nino featuring Punk band “Auslander” got published on October 1st. 2020 on 7“ Vinyl as addition to the book Auzine - Vienna`s Underground Fanzine, Vinyl release “Press Enter” on Yoshi_Records from Vienna and Techno V/A compilation for Berlin label_ Aurora Introduces: Serbia, compiled and mastered by: Nino Šebelić
