** The 'unableton series' is my collection of productions that I'm choosing to upload to track my progress while I try to maneuver myself around Ableton, and music production in general. Everything is a work in progress, and this is mostly a way for myself to (hopefully) see my development. Please feel free to provide any feedback! **

Trying to see how much I can learn before the 90-day free trial expires, and just posting half-decent stuff to record progress. If anyone actually reads this, please feel free to provide feedback.

Not really sure how this came about. I plugged in a melody I thought was dope and just played around with some stock sounds and plug-ins. The delay on the kick made some sort of cool, driving echo bass. 

Definitely see the impact of sidechaining the compressor to let the kick punch through too. Will probably keep working with existing source material and try to put my own spin on things to try and simplify the process for now.

Got to be a part of a crazy event where 7 of my friends with ZERO DJ experience learned what they could in 3 months and put on a whole event for friends and family. Genuinely proud and impressed of how far everyone was able to come, and so happy that the event went through without any problems.
