Alexander Kulikov - Soil And Wind

Primary Colours Music's Antipodean Dubs continues its celebration of Australian dub techno talent with the release of Volume B.

This instalment features Echo Inspectors, who have been a cornerstone of Primary Colours since its inception in 2012. Their track "Uncanny Valley" exemplifies their signature fusion of dub techno and deep rhythms, underscored by their meticulous programming.

Next, Sydney-based producer Taction delivers "Dialect," a deep techno homage imbued with dark, underground drone tones, reflecting his reverence for the genre's pioneers.

Brisbane’s Subset makes a powerful return with "Impedance," a track that fuses rootzy vibes, low-slung basslines, and massive drums, pulling listeners into its captivating stepping grooves.

The release is capped off by Sydney's Simon Mann, a long-time supporter of Primary Colours and renowned skater, with "Delta Morphic." This track radiates an uplifting energy through playful rhythms and effects, showcasing Simon's distinctive talents and rounding out this exceptional collection of Australian dub techno.

Biography:
Francesco Tamburrano is a producer from Venice who focuses on dub techno sounds with basslines borrowed from techno and deep house to create "melting electronics": sometimes hypnotic, sometimes raw, sometimes catchy. Fresh music from Francesco has recently been released on the label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] as part of a joint EP with Seabra Monkey x The Venusian x Francesco Tamburrano - First Light. 

And also a brand new track "Payara" in the compilation dedicated to the label's birthday, a mix of one of the parts we offer you to listen to performed by Francesco. Stay tuned!

Biography:
Monophaze was a punk rock drummer in the former age, then quitting and switch to synths & machine, starting his electronic career as a producer first, then DJ. The interest on Techno stuff was touch during 2012-2013, he got inspired by artist such as ALEX BAU,VRIL, DUSTIN ZAHN, then he switched more into dub techno stuff. He played in the past in many clubs around his zone, and got an hype when he played in Frankfurt at GIBSON club. His style is always evolving.

Bootes o el Boyero es una de las 88 constelaciones modernas y era una de las 48 constelaciones listadas por Ptolomeo. Bootes parece ser una figura humana grande, mirando hacia la Osa Mayor.

Exactamente quién era Bootes no está claro, y existen muchas versiones de su historia: Se dice que pudo ser Árcade, hijo de Calisto y Zeus, o también que podría haber sido un simple labrador, pero que inventó el arado; hecho que complació tanto a Ceres, la diosa de la agricultura, que pidió a Júpiter dar a Bootes una instalación fija permanente en los cielos como recompensa por lo que había hecho...

Llevo tiempo dándole vueltas a la idea de hacer una canción que combinase los tres ritmos básicos de batería del reggae (one drop, rockers, y stepper): Y de hecho, cuando combiné los 3 me salió fácilmente una pista de batería. El problema vino cuando había que añadirle más cosas para tener una canción completa... Pero bueno, poquito a poquito y dedicándole algo de tiempo cada día, éste es el resultado que he conseguido.
