Mission: Electronic - A new planet Discovery

Noosa Sound System chronicles the latest Discovery. 'Sol Transmission' is a live soundscape performance, inspired by the recent finding of a new planet similar to ours. HD 20794 is a super-Earth in the habitable zone of its star, located 20 light-years away. Researchers at the University of Oxford confirmed its existence in January 2025, after initially identifying a candidate exoplanet signal in 2022.The planet is within the habitable zone of its star, meaning it is at the right distance to potentially sustain liquid water on its surface. HD 20794 has a mass six times that of Earth. the gravity would be pretty heavy there, but there's nothing heavy about this soundtrack. Strap in as we venture outwards into sound.

Cascading Sectors arrives, the 11th installment of the Natural Expressions series, where dub techno's subterranean pulse converges with industrial textures and shimmering ambience. Inspired by the hidden anatomy of nuclear reactor facilities-cooling towers, control rooms, and the silent hum of containment systems-this record explores the friction between technological precision and organic decay.

Across two halves, Cascading Sectors balances warmth and tension. The Dub Side unfurls with deep, gelatinous basslines and drifting delays. 'Spiral' pulses with a hypnotic rhythm, evoking the slow, methodical approach of engines synchronizing as they approach the boarding platform. 'Barycenter' finds equilibrium in echoing chords, while 'Nuclear Fission' fractures rhythms with deep dub stabs. A brief sunlit warmth arrives in 'Sun,' where muted pads and submerged percussion hint at a distant horizon, before 'Sector 5,' where Visitor XIX and legendary producer Mikael Delta weave rhythms and chords into the subterranean grooves.

Flip to the Hard Side, and the machinery seems to rev into overdrive. 'Reflector' drifts through the circuitry like a spectral scan, its metallic hits mapping unseen terrain-each ricochet a signal bending space, collapsing distance. 'Peripheral Vision' conjures surveillance-state unease through echoing textures, and 'Z-Axis' delivers a cathartic finale-a distorted cascade of noise and bass that fades into a white-out.

Recorded with vintage analog delays, tapes, spring reverbs, and modular synthesis, Cascading Sectors captures the analog imperfections at the heart of both human invention and inevitable entropy. Whether you're exploring the control room or wandering the turbine halls in your mind's eye, this album is your passport to an immersive dub techno reactor tour.

The Caspian Sea is a unique object, whose hydrocarbon resources and biological wealth have no analogues.

The Caspian is one of the oldest oil production areas. But The waters of the Caspian are polluted not only as a result of accidental oil releases. The Volga and all other rivers that carry their waters to the Caspian Sea bring with them tons of human waste products, as well as household solid waste.

Dirty waters flowing into the Caspian create dangerous oxygen-free zones - they have already appeared in the south of the region. These are parts of the sea where, due to the high level of pollution, all oxygen-producing marine vegetation dies, and after algae, all marine life dies.

The Caspian Sea is a common ecological object of the Caspian region. Countries that build dams on the banks of rivers that feed the sea, and also drain sewage and garbage into the water area, must understand that a crisis in one part of the region will certainly affect others. If the Caspian Sea is not started to be rescued right now, it will turn into a shallow reservoir polluted with oil and household chemicals, in which there will be no fish and other marine life...

piano sound diary 0823 w/noise

This piece places a quiet piano performance against a subtle background of noise textures.
I sampled and layered two types of noise:

Gray noise (shaped from white noise with EQ, softened into a fog-like presence)

Pink noise (a warm, grounded layer that slowly emerges in the second half)

By combining these two noise sources, the background gains both depth and atmosphere,
like a shaded canvas on which the piano can unfold its diary-like reflections.
