Kostas Staikos (aka Substak). Greek electronic music producer, was born and raised in the city of Athens. The start of his journey into music began at 2011 when decided to escape a bit from real life & started mixing and producing. His music genres include: Ambient, Dub, Dub Techno, Minimal & Minimal Techno. Over 13 years of production, Kostas has released more than 200 releases on various thematic labels.
The podcast is dedicated to a good friend, producer Shebuzzz, who died shortly before. R.I.P.

Dub Techno Blog Live Show 018 - Mixlr - 16.11.14 (Live every Sunday 8pm GMT)

We drop in just at the start of Chris Stark's set around 2 hours into the night at September's TRACE at Brunswick Cellars Glasgow. 

Chris Stark is another one of our favourite Djs. His sets are equal parts unpredictable and measured. A confident selector with a broad range of electronic music in his armoury. No big ego here. Just pure dancefloor action that gets everyone smiling. 

Listening back to Chris' recent set, it has flavours of what you might hear played by the likes of Optimo, Horse Meat Disco or at an ALFOS night. We find it hard to compare Chris' sound to anyone in particular though, and that's what makes Chris' sets even more special. 

Curtis closes out with a few tracks from around 2:10, with our man Stark selecting the final track of the night. Can't wait for Mr Stark to return to TRACE. 

We're on the 1st Friday of each month at Brunswick Cellars - Glasgow.

Label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] is thrilled to unveil its 45th release — "Part of Me" EP, crafted by the talented electronic music producer Sleney (@sleney1996) from Moscow, Russia. This EP is a sonic journey, featuring four original tracks and five remixes from modern dub techno artists Marek Bartůněk (@marekbartunek), ODP (@enercube and @x_fr), Inzajeano (@inzajeano), Radio Badjay (@radiobadjay) and Substak (@substak).

Part of Me EP invites listeners to dive into the profound soundscapes of Sleney. Each track uncovers a different facet of the artist’s creative expression, weaving together emotions, memories, and abstract sonic landscapes that resonate deeply with the soul.

"For me this is a personal summer soundtrack, but not just for 2016. This is a choice selection of old, timeless favourite cuts that bring back memories of hot, sunny days and really set the scene. There was only room for a 2 or 3 newer tracks on this one. In the beginning the mood is from a nice summer afternoon, later I imagine that it's getting slowly dark outside, until the sun goes up again (last 2 tracks).
