I Spoke To The Trees/
In whispers soft, the trees confide,
Their leaves like beats, a rhythmic tide.
Roots deep in history, they sway and hum,
Echoing tales of where we come from.
In the shadows, dub beats rise and fall,
Like echoes of nature's ancient call.
A soundscape lush, where rhythms intertwine,
From the depths of the forest to the divine bassline.
The trunk's embrace, a grounding sound,
As branches stretch, our hearts unbound.
In techno's pulse, the earth's breath flows,
A meeting of worlds, where music grows.
So let us dance, as the trees unite,
In vibrant tones of day and night.
With every beat, we hear their plea,
In the dub of the forest, I spoke to the trees.

Bio/
German-based artist Christian Schmidt, aka Klordop.
Klordop is rooted in hypnotic minimal techno. His personal style is characterised by the rich atmospheric spectrum of electroacoustic sounds – unusual in electronic dance music – driven by irresistible grooves.
Expect wondrous journeys for the mind and the body, riding on infectious beats through intense psychedelic soundscapes. The work of the Hamburg-based artist has taken on epic proportions under various project names on his own label, Roo Rec. Today, his main projects are Klordop (dub minimal techno) and Segensklang (for ambient drone).

I spoke to the trees

Thrilled to welcome Liuos (Jari Österberg) for his debut guest mix in the World Nights series! His fresh sound and dynamic selection bring a new spark to the series, Making his first appearance truly special. Join as we dive into an inspiring musical experience with Liuos.

Liuos seemed to arrive on the dub techno scene all at once with Terms EP, his strong debut on Cold Tear Records, but this was the culmination of two decades of experimentation and discipline. A unique mix of power and spaciousness, of both longing and will, Liuos’ work stands out for its clarity and expansiveness. Working steadily from his modest studio in Finland, Liuos has quietly become a respected name in the world of dub techno, with releases on Cold Tear Records, Superordinate Dub Waves and Piranha Siberia Dub.

From the very beginning, when I first got to know Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer during his uprise, I felt the passion and dedication he carries for this music. I’ve always had deep appreciation for him, not only because of his artistry but also because I was fortunate to have a couple of my own mixes shared on his channel. Those moments gave me the motivation to keep pushing forward, and I’ll never forget the support.

My very first guest mix on his series kept gathering views and still means a lot to me to this day. And now, I’m proudly happy to welcome him into my own series of World Night’s. Enjoy, my dubby friends, this amazing mix.

Do you know the feeling of coming back from vacation and still holding on to the beautiful memories made at the beach? That’s the mood Nikita von Tiraspol captures on his new EP. Three tracks that move between uplifting summer beach house and melancholic, shimmering evening moods. Perfect for both the island holiday itself and the journey back home.

We are excited to welcome Nikita to our label with his first EP in two years. To top it off, the release is elevated by a remix from Washington, DC–based producer Dommie, who takes a completely different approach. His rework feels like Livity Sound had grown up on the coast of Ibiza instead of the UK.
