About George Kostopoulos (Anthens,Greece) :

George Kostopoulos is an artist - electronic music producer (mainly Dub Techno, Techno, Deep). He was born in Athens, in 1990. He lives in Eleusis (Greece). Music has been his passion since he was 12 years old. Especially, since his father was a bass player in a rock band. No wonder where he gets his artistic side from! He, also, loves dancefloor but not as much as making music.

SPACE VIEWX [#35] George Kostopoulos ( Greece,Dub Techno)

Dubtechno has the capability to connect with your innerself. Listening to it has to be done in nature, late night at home or in your headphone . Some tracks have the length to immerse yourself into them. Especially the long and extended track versions.  They can go to around 20 minutes or maybe longer. To capture this I have selected a few tracks with a length of 10 minutes and longer.  Normally they are mixed in  shorter bits but this time I have tried to give them a full glimpse of there rhythmic and pulsation sounds these dubtechno tracks have. So enjoy. 

I have put in the total lenght per track in the tracklist.

Deep Saw Diving is a musical journey through beefy pads and melodic soundscapes, always somewhere in the middle of ambient, techno, dub and house. Often with a melancholic feeling that probably most of us recognize in this pandemic plagued 2020. The ambition was to create a musical blanket, something to keep the listener warm and hopefully provide some sort of comfort.

Martin's latest release was back in 2010 and his debut dates to 2001. Martin, started his electronic music production in what was known as clicks and cuts, he then moved towards the dancefloors with dub techno and tech house production. Which was highlighted when his track 'Moonstruck' got remixed by Icelandic giants Gus Gus and became an underground club hit in 2005. However, his return almost 15 years later with 'Deep Saw Diving' seems more suited for the ride home from the club than anything else.
