Welcome to Episode 231 on Poisonoise Music with this set seeing the return of German based artist Timo Reitzklang.
Inspired by the techno sound of Frankfurt in the early 90s (Harthouse, Eye Q etc.) and the many good parties, Reitzklang started djing techno and trance in 1994.
Later, he focused on psychedelic trance. For the last 20 years he has concentrated on techno, progressive house and dub techno.

I noticed my mixingstyle is changing from the dancefloor more to the headset. It’s the story telling that is more and more important to the way how I compile my mixes. After I have recorded a mix, I always sit back and listen to my mixes with my headset on. For me the mix is ok, when I sense a wave of emotions that is complementing each other. This mix is also special to me as it is an announcement of my upcomming EP release with [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB]. It has been a long road to this release and two of the tracks in this mix are from my upcomming EP called Jökull (Talandi is). The EP is taking you on a journey to the land of Ice and Fire. Techenie presents the twelfth episode of the Reka podcast, featuring a mix recorded by Ilya Kozlov aka Elijah, a DJ from Saint Petersburg.
"I work beyond genre boundaries, but I love Psy-Trance, Dub Techno, Melodic House, Dubstep, Electro, and Chill Out the most. In the mid-2010s, I worked as a sound engineer at the Griboedov club in Saint Petersburg and started DJing in Crimea in 2018. Currently, I participate in local non-commercial festivals and parties in Saint Petersburg as a DJ and occasionally as a sound technician. I focus on the melodic aspect of music. I dream of expanding the geography of my performances and would be happy to collaborate.
My acquaintance with Dub Techno began with the Basic Channel label and the Dublicator project. I truly started working in this genre in 2023 when I met Daniel DJ Sideways and recorded a guest mix for his YouTube channel. I am particularly fond of the works of Radio Badjay, Francesco Tamburrano, and Seabra Monkey. The releases from the Techenie label have been a real discovery for me, and I enjoy playing this music".

Biography:
Aritomi, real name Eric Banquier. He has started his musical activities as a FM radio DJ in the mid 90's, on a French local radio. The electronic music project Aritomi began when the radio had to close down in the late 90's. 
Initially, it was a simple experiment with sounds made on a very limited equipment. The style has evolved over the years, from House and Techno at the beginning, to a more minimal blend of Deep, Ambient and Dub Techno, but still quite melodic. 
Living in Japan since 2000, Aritomi has performed DJ sets at "Echo Chamber" events, Dub Techno parties organised by Tsubasa Arakawa and released music on Zero Signal Records, hello▼strange, Solar Phenomena, Slope Point and [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB].
