They complained that the water off the coast of Khalaktyrsky Beach near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky had changed color and had an unusual smell. A large number of dead sea animals were washed ashore. Surfers have complained of health problems, including blurred vision... The causes of the environmental disaster are still being investigated.."
