Born in Sweden with Moroccan and Czech origin, Amavii moved at a very young age to West Africa. Growing up in The Gambia exposed her to people of various cultural backgrounds and experience of travel. For many years she lived in the UK, California, Sweden and now resides in Germany. All these colorful factors influenced and enriched her taste and sound in music.

Bursting on the scene with fresh ideas, dynamic style and cutting-edge sound; her passion for music is promising and unquestionably distinct! She has performed in events throughout Sweden alongside world-renowned artists such as La Fleur, Fritz Kalkbrenner, ANNA and Monkey Safari, just to name a few. Today, Amavii lives in Berlin, where she is guesting clubs such as Golden Gate, Ritter Butzke, Fiese Remise, Anomalies, Void and Suicide Circus.

Amavii’s eclectic music and style consistently gives the dance floor an element of surprise. She seamlessly weaves together deep, progressive, sensual, punchy, energetic and addictive experiences.

Philani is a community-based child health and nutrition organisation operating in the township and squatter communities of Cape Town, South Africa where poverty, unemployment and violence are dominant. Established in 1980 on the initiative of the women health workers in Crossroads, it is an independent non-profit making organisation. The Philani Nutrition Project is committed to the protection of the rights of every child to proper nutrition and healthcare in communities where malnourished children and destitute mothers are the most vulnerable.

The Philani Mothers formed a choir in 1986 and recorded a collection of songs with health and nutrition messages written and sung in Xhosa. Originally released in 1998 on cassette and entitled The Philani Mothers Lyrical Health Messages, the purpose of the album was to spread the Philani message within the community. It is just one of the many projects initiated by the group to assist the women and children of the townships.

The originals of each of these 10 songs have been reworked for this album. The aim is to generate awareness for the organisation and the problems townships in South Africa face, as well as to raise funds to enable Philani to continue its work and improve health awareness within the community.

Technostate Inc. is a Techno movement from the northern part of The Netherlands, with a clear preference for the underground sound. Technostate Inc. was founded in January 2015 and started as a counterbalance against the larger, already established Dutch dance event organizations. 

Together with several clubs Technostate Inc. organizes Techno events throughout the Netherlands such as Subsonic (Groningen), Club Hemingway (Leeuwarden) and many more. Besides organizing indoor club-events on a frequent basis, Technostate Inc. hosted stages at festivals such as Play! Festival, Kingsday Outdoor | Club Hemingway and Amsterdam Dance Event.
