This is a song about meeting someone and finding a strange sense of home in them, like you've been together a while. 
Rough demo I recorded at home, just for the joy of sharing a song I love, that I wrote two weeks ago. Mellow version, cuz it was late night and people were asleep while I was doing this. Have fun! :D

My heart's been in a really heavy place the past year— for people, for justice, for well guided love, for a people that goes to work and stands for the those that can't stand. This song comes from that place of aching and contrition.

I wrote this the past 3 days with a fever and lots of cough, so that was fun!

cafuné/kind eyes (demo)

After being stuck in pandemic-induced-lockdown, I finally got my Arturia Microfreak about two weeks ago. Been playing around with it, thought I'd put together a little something I worked on the past few days. For the price, this is an amazing hardware synth.
Everything here is the synth, except the beat, those are samples (packs from Emmit Fenn & Sandunes) I got from Splice that I worked around with.
(the trap hats are still from the Microfreak tho)

vv minimal effects/mix work on this, just fyi, the only effects here is NI Phasis on the hats.

continuing from last week, this is still all from this synth, except for most of the beats, with just a little mixing in post. ⁣
had a little four note idea that ending up becoming quite different from what I intended, happy accidents and all.⁣
