It Gets Old

The writing and recording project of Benji Tranter, from the Welsh Marches, joined by friends Lizzy Walsh and Adam Fletcher.

Since forming in 2018, the group have gigged all around the capital, recorded a session with BBC Introducing, as well as livestreams for Welsh new music institute Horizons/Gorwellion and NYC's Colossus Festival. Upon releasing ‘three of the best singles this year’ (Adam Walton, BBC Wales) the band have received consistent support on the airwaves, including spins from Gemma Bradley (BBC R1), Tom Robinson (6 Music), Huw Stephens and Adam Walton (BBC Wales), and were made ‘Artist of the Week’ across BBC Midlands. They have been featured across Spotify editorials including Fresh Finds, Feel Good Indie Rock with their single Portal receiving over 75,000 streams and featuring on S21 of Made in Chelsea.
