Die bekannte Aussage, sich in der Musik verlieren zu können, trifft bei den beiden Faultieren eigentlich immer voll und ganz zu. Profitieren tuen sie definitiv von ihrem unnachahmlichen Track-picking und den samtig weichen Übergängen, die jedes einzelne Teilchen erst zu einem harmonischen Ganzen verschmelzen lassen. Wie ihr merkt, sind wir große Fans von ihrem Sound. Nicht umsonst fiebern wir jetzt schon einige Monate ihrer Interpretation der Afterhour entgegen, die wir euch heute endlich präsentieren dürfen. Und ja, es erwartet euch Großes… Versprochen.

✔️ Was sind eure musikalischen Einflüsse? 

Wir sind Beide von klein auf musikalisch durch unser Elternhaus geprägt.
Dazu legt éner seit knapp 20 Jahren Vinyl auf und Stelze spielt seit Klein auf Saxofon in verschieden Combos und ist mittlerweile seit 15 Jahren an den Decks.
Wir sind absolute Musik Fanten, etliche Künstler/innen und unterschiedlichste Musikstile prägten uns auf unserer Laufbahn. So viele , dass wir sie hier nicht alle benennen können.

✔️ Was macht eurer Meinung nach her eine gute Afterhour aus?

Freunde, Gemütlichkeit und Sets aus den Faultierdisko bzw Deep&Smooth Podcast Serien :)
….Außerdem, irgendwann ist auch mal Feierabend! Faultiere schlafen gern! :D

✔️ Welche Gedanken mögt ihr uns zu eurem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?

Wir erinnern uns gerne an die schönste Afterhour, die wir gemeinsam erlebt haben. Es war éners Geburtstag und wir spielten das Closing Set im Mensch Meier bei Mytic Creatures.
Eine Wahnsinns Stimmung, Sonnenlicht flutete den Floor, eine magisch Energy! Wir spielten das erste Mal b2b und merkten wie gut wir an den Decks harmonierten.
Auch unser Afterhour Sounds Set wurde von aus abwechselnd erlesenen Lieblings-Tracks b2b im Studio des JAZ e.V. Rostock abgemischt.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

On this edition we welcome Zhart (@zhart) & Seyde (@seyde-music)

They got to know each other on the dance floor, danced intensely, smiling brightly and discovered their common passion, which they want to share with the world: Silky soft, gentle tones, emotional flowing episodes and gently driving, slowly pounding beats like the sound of a heavy old train. 

Seyde has been a band member and producer for years and has just found his home in soulful, dreamy and bouncy downtempo and recently played his first live set.

Zhart has stepped into the downtempo scene in Berlin and is known for heavy synths and basslines. Thanks to the co-production with Seyde he is able to express his softer side. 

Especially for this set they have used their vision of sound to create an original track, which was the first own production for zhart. 

Together with the beloved BeYond Collective (@beyondcollectiveberlin) they create beautiful parties in Berlin and they invite everyone to experience them!

It's a great honor to have with Us today an experienced and regarded player, Paweł Chojecki aka Fata & Morgana.
@fataandmorgana grew up and completed his music education in Poland, later pursuing sound engineering studies in Switzerland. 
Ultimately, he settled in Berlin, where he worked as a sound engineer in the iconic Katerblau club. 
It was there that he took his first steps and began playing alongside top artists in the scene.

His diverse and unique style, multitude of genres, along with his involvement in projects like Feather & Sun, Dubious Edibles, and Matanza, have allowed him to travel across several continents and perform in clubs and festivals in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Netherlands, France, Romania, Austria, Spain, Croatia, Turkey, Lebanon, USA, Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, and Chile.

Fata & Morgana, known for his eclectic selection, has prepared a bit faster dancefloor mix for us today, still below 120 bpm, of course.

Dieses mitreißende Set wurde auf dem diesjährigen Deep in Forest Festival aufgenommen und ist ein absolutes Highlight aus diesem Jahr. Die liebe Spii (Escon) hat mit ihren pulsierenden Beats und der lebendigen Atmosphäre absolut in ihren Bann gezogen. Sie ist die Top Newcomerin 2023 für uns!

Da haben wir uns in der Vorbereitung so lange mit dem Intro beschäftigt (ein Bier auf uns für den, der uns sagt, wer das Intro gesprochen hat), dass im Anschluss der Flow die Regie übernehmen musste.

Big thanks for an unforgettable bash! The mingling, the dancing, the deep convos, and the music that just wouldn't stop – absolute epicness. Much appreciation for getting booked for the after party, too – seven solid hours of swing that had the place buzzing, especially in the company of my beloved friends in the comfort of the magical lada. 

I've crafted a mix from a chunk of that set, but nothing beats the magic of the live moment. The present always packs its own unique vibe. Dive into the slow flow and enjoy the ride!
