You Deserve Better Than That

I believe that whenever someone is in the right mood, only then should he/she start making music, especially the melodic ones, because it needs both patience and excitement to make real good melodies and apply moods to it. But 'Curse of Mind' was my first song that never came to existence that way.
I was just playing with the keys in D Minor (it is very right to think that any key can used to make sad or happy melodies, but to me, D Minor is the saddest. and I was obsessed with sad music from a very long time) when I found out this four-step melody that stuck in people's heads. And before I made this melody, I made a bunch of other melodies on that same project, which were totally different from the new one. But they sounded great. Then I started to work on them. It took me like one week to finish the full beat. The beats (kicks, hi-hats) I kept simple, because the melody was already very complex. And there it was.
'Curse of Mind' is a Hip-Hop, RnB type beat with a sad, but at the same time refreshing, tune and vibe. It consists of reversed melodies and a simple but catchy beat. Reverberation is the thing that gives it most of its life and fullness. This song gives the listener a sad vibe and also refreshes the mind at the same time. Though it is classified as Hip-Hop and RnB, a Lo-Fi vibe can also be found in the music.
