Late last night, I was checking the shelves of The Vault for a track that I might post today.  I had a few choices.  One of those choices was a moody, sad, ambient indie pop tune.  The other prime candidate I was considering was also a moody, sad, ambient indie pop tune.  

I know that the past few Sundays, I've made it a point to post one of the "prettier" Interbay tunes--but that's not a rule, just a trend...a fad, even.  I thought to myself, if I get too predictable...it won't be fun for anyone.  

So, even though I was tired and even though I had a bunch of things I wanted to get done, I just decided:  I should make a guitar-centric rock with synths.  You can still feel the steam coming off of this track, because I'm posting it fresh and piping hot.  

If you're wondering about the title or what the lyrics mean--Google is your friend.  I wanted a track with a title that started with the letter K...and I found the word "Kordax", looked up what it meant, laughed my silly head off...and I said "OK."  (I felt like Peter Gabriel writing "Sledgehammer"--only, I realized quickly that I couldn't pull that sort of confidence off...so, I swapped genders.)  

This is basic stuff, I understand.  Bog standard.  Anytime an Interbay track has any guitar on it, it probably isn't going to impress any actual guitar players--but that's not the point.  The point is--did I get the idea of my song across?  Does it work?  

I think it does.  Of course, if you're more of a fan of more purely electronic/dance oriented stuff I typically do...this might not be your thing.  I get it.  I'd still appreciate it if you gave it a listen--because you never know...  (And trust me, there's plenty of dance stuff coming...and, at some point, a couple of downtempo sad & moody tracks.)

PS--I KNOW that it is spelled Dionysus and not Dianne Isis...I just thought it was funny, in a "Abbie Normal" sort of way.
