In the Bubble Bath with: Recorded Future

During a year in France, Aino DJ finally got the courage to step behind a turntable and started mixing for fun. Since then, she has played in clubs like Gewölbe and Jaki and has made first steps outside of her homebase with gigs at Melt Festival and Silbergold, Frankfurt.The cologne based DJ plays a selection of a whole variety of different subgenres, always rooted in a dynamic mixture of electro, breaks, techno and more. She loves to twist her sets into unexpected directions and never just focuses on one genre, unwilling to fulfill expectations regarding the sound she plays.

The other podcast is by our close friend and Chaya co-founder Dr. Schock. This is the second time she appears in our soundcloud-biosphere, the first time was a live recording from Blechsonne festival, where she tore apart the floor. This one exists on the more mellow side of the fast+nice musical spectrum. Break- and jungle influenced drums walk you through the mix as a common theme. With airy pads floating above it picks up pace into techno-ish trance territory without loosing its dreamy touch for long. This mix fits perfectly into the "other" side of our sound, showcasing some breaks and general diversity apart from the "harder, faster, stronger" approach we've been showing in the last months. Take this as a little foreshaddowy hint on what's coming with our next event. We've got two international artists, announcement around the corner. Enjoy this mix!
