Italian DJ legend DJ Rocca (from the infamous Maffia Club) joins forces with File Under Disco to produce a stunning EP of original new disco sounds. 

As one half of Erodiscotheque alongside disco superstar Dimitri From Paris, and as a regular collaborator with Danielle Baldelli the Grandaddy of the Cosmic sound, DJ Rocca's disco credentials are firmly in place. 

For this release, he captures the classic sound of disco funk on 'Love Power', but gives it a modern production twist and re-spins it for the contemporary dance floor. 
On the remix front, the one and only Dimitri From Paris rolls out one of his heavy-hitting, Prelude-style Nightdubbin' mixes of 'Pizza On Wednesday', which will have your dancers beating the street for more. 
While Dicky Trisco's dance floor intentions are obvious as he hits the boogie button with a hands-in-the-air retake on A Magical Day.

Mr Mendel’s disco credentials have been growing steadily in stature over the last few years. 

Here the Dutch boogieman drops two killer jams for the Disco Deviance imprint. Both demonstrate his clean and tidy approach to editing which focuses on the quality of the original source material and a delicate desire to enhance and ease only the very best out of the music he loves so much. 

As such he owes much to his Chicago mentor and good friend Rahaan whose influence and sound can be detected in these reworks. This is of course a good thing.

St Petersburg resident Sunner Soul has had releases on the likes of Acryl Music, Midnight Riot, Tronic and Armada, but this five-track EP comes on his own Vintage Music label. Opener 'Dancing In Madness' ain't nothin' but a lazy summer groove complete with crowd noise and mucho use of the filters, 'Don't Hold Back' is in a similar vein but has a phatter bottom-end and 'Feel Good 2 U' is another late 90s filter disco throwback, before 'Handle With Care' leads us down a slightly more sophisticated jazz-funk path and 'Sunrise Jam' plays us out with jazz piano and energising James Brown-like whoops and shouts.
