The Sky The Dawn And The Sun Sample

Hendrik Brits discovered his passion for the Pan Pipes at the tender age of 15 years. Standing in the church of his hometown, Witbank, the ethereal melody played in praise to God moved him so greatly that he knew at that moment what his life’s work must be. As he devoted his time and energy to mastering the instrument, he decided that simply playing would not suffice. So great was his passion that in those formative years, the young Hendrik committed to one day build them, make them beautiful and present them to the world.

In the last decade, Hendrik has recorded and released three extremely popular albums; “This Little Light of Mine”, “Catch the Wave” and the most recent, “Pie Jesu”. He’s music has been received with great enthusiasm and has garnered awards at the Witbank Gospel Music Festival, among many other accolades. Most of his time is spent performing at weddings, resorts, casinos and festivals. Between his contract with Sun International and private musical performances, he builds pan flutes and offers private lessons. His flutes are of such a high standard and so rare to commission in South Africa that he finds himself supplying everyone from schools to private collectors.
