These days IAMNOBODI is working full time on his debut album. A couple of weeks ago he spend an evening listening to Dilla, Slum Village and MNSGN and ended up playing around with some sounds closer to classic rap beats then his usual signature soulful futuristic productions. The next morning he had created 8 tracks full of raw drums, chopped up soul samples and warm bass lines. This guy can do it all!!!

We have been slacking a bit with dropping that limited, limited vinyl material so here we go again. Each release will be limited to 100 hand numbered 12" EP copies.

Le Luxembourg, nouveau berceau du Jazz européen ?.... Si des musiciens comme Michel Pilz, Ernie Hammes ou Roby Glod ont porté trop discrètement une qualité musicale indéniable pendant de nombreuses années, la scène luxembourgeoise semble pousser les frontières et s’émancipe grandement depuis ces derniers mois. Pascal Schumacher, Maxime Bender  entre autres sont là pour témoigner de cette effervescence dans l’écriture, la composition et avec une expression sur scène des plus passionnantes.

Parmi ces musiciens attachés à leur territoire mais conquérants sur le monde, le pianiste Michel Reis, le contrebassiste Marc Demuth et le batteur Paul Wiltgen ont su prendre le temps de la réflexion, de l’apprentissage et de l’ouverture sur ce monde. Résidant aux Etats-Unis depuis plusieurs années pour Michel Reis et Paul Wiltgen, navigant entre Portugal, Espagne et le reste de l’Europe pour Marc Demuth, ce Trio déjà complice depuis 1998 tient à s’affirmer aujourd’hui comme une des formations les plus originales dans le célèbre triangle piano, basse, batterie. 

Une écriture très européenne pour les mélodies associées à la puissance rythmique US dans tout ce qu’elle a d’enthousiasmant tant dans sa dynamique que dans l’assise de sa construction. Reis / Demuth / Wiltgen nous interpellent sur la richesse de ce jazz actuel et sur une Europe décomplexée.

In recent years, Russian independent scene has repeatedly shown that our country is rich in musical talent and real nuggets. Modern technologies allow to create, without leaving home, and sometimes without leaving the couch. Someone is limited to only the tip of the iceberg, and almost every day churning out the same type of backing tracks, but someone is trying to get the most out of these technologies and their music, "I". The latter can be safely attributed and producer from Siberia under the name King Shi. To work on their new full-length album "The Asian Wind", he spent more than a year, carefully polishing his sound and selecting the best of their own projects.
The album - a true example of downtempo-quality music from Russia, which is not ashamed to appear in front of and peers from the EU and the U.S. and western public before the election. It is worth noting that the release of "The Asian Wind" will be held on the European netlabel Dusted Wax Kingdom in the first half of July 2013. This well-balanced, high-quality and emotional music definitely deserves support and not get one in your circle of players.
