The party has ended. Everyone's back home.
Left overs and lilies and styrofoam.

A car starts. A dog barks. The churchbells strike noon.

The postbox stopped throwing up on the doormat.
There's mold on the cake. The coffee's grown cold
Yesterweeks news keeps growing old.

A car parks. A cat barks. The churchbells strike twelve.
