Explosions is the latest song from Brooklyn producer, songwriter and artist Ricky Blaze. In between working with some of your favorite artists (Santigold, Estelle, Gyptian, Major Lazer, Kranium, Vybz Kartel) Ricky has found time to craft his own artistry. He previously released his EP "X-Rated" in June 2018 and is back with another mega record to start the year off. The song's production borrows dancehall entertainer Ding Dong's 2006 hit "Badman Forward Badman Pull Up" instrumental, which was also produced by Ricky, introducing him to international notoriety as a producer. This infectious club track with a new melody and synths heats up the revitalized production, while Ricky serenades about a late night rendezvous with a special lady. Ricky has been a leading inspiration to musicians and fans with his production style and songwriting approach. Including "Badman Forward Badman Pull Up", Ricky has crafted some of the caribbean's biggest hits like Gyptian’s "Hold Yuh", changing the sound of Dancehall to a more crossover and edgy feel.
