Snatch'N Gwap is more than just a Record Label, We are a family. Our mission is to create good music and electrify any stage that we step on. With unlimited lyrical content and originality this group is bringing hip hop back to it's roots. Established  January of 2010 by the Gwap Boiz, Calvin J Smith and Ronald A McClain (aka C2daJ & Ramdocious) had an idea to put together a team that could change the way people viewed hip hop. That idea transformed into reality a couple of months later when they signed long time friend Geoffrey Meade (aka Y.T) the third muskateer. After working on their first mixtape entitled The Takeover that dropped August of 2012, it was clear to see that the talent was there. The Takeover featured a artist by the name of Hennessy(Jeffrey Harris), a veteran in the game and the next member of the team. Hennessy brought experience and a whole new sound to the team which help set us apart from the rest. Later that year in December the team was complete, signing two new artist Tha Kid (Carlos Barnaby) and Aynata Payne (Tanya Chamberlain).

The first song on Ghost Plant is The Great Gatsby. 2020 started out a party for me. It’s the roaring twenties again and I was ready to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I was still riding the high of my first mix tape Nimbus 64. There is a lot of flex and fun emotion in this song. Its all bars and no hook. I did this song over logics 44 More beat. The song is more like 76 Bars but who’s counting right? I wanted the first song on the album to deliver what I know I can do and have fun doing. I also didn’t want to start out too serious as I know I cover some pretty heavy topics this album.
