The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Henrik Åström (Internment, Holding the Wire, Cowboys and Indians, Child of Grace). The American Runestone is executive produced by Peter Stormare, Nina Lund & Glenn Lund and explores the role played by Viking explorers in Europe’s discovery of North America. The series follows Stormare on a personal and often humorous journey through Minnesota to uncover the truth about the founding of America through meetings with scholars, skeptics and sensationalists.
