For the exhibition Onbregrensd in Mondriaanhuis (the museum about and birthplace of Piet Mondrian) in Amersfoort, running from September 2022 till March 2023, seven composers are linked to seven visual artists. Duth composer Henry Kelder was linked to Art van Triest and wrote Affected for quintet.

The Keuris Ensemble recorded it in Hilversum with Frans de Rond.
