Thank you beautiful humans for co-creating sunrise Burning Man with the Dusty Rhino and Tycho. The inspirational word that guided my set this year was Joygasm...thanks for making that inspiration come true.

The REXAN art car was filled with a wild group of human animals as it was on fast approach to the trash edge of Burning Man at dawn on Saturday Morning before the sun showed itself to the world.

We had been out all night through some of the most intense dust storms and this was my last set of many throughout the week. My heart was full and open for what's next. Stay Rad.  - Vitamindevo

It has been quite some time since the last time we gathered for a night of MBTS. I wanted to take some time after the pandemic to be quiet and see how the dance music scene would evolve, and what sounds would come out of the standstill that was Covid. Now that I have a good sense of where I want to be sonically, and what kind of energy I want to spread onto dance floors, I am ready to restart MBTS in 2023. Friday in the Tea House at KISS was magic. The rain and mud forced us to slow down and just BE with each other as we weathered the storm. It created a full range of experiences in our little tea tent. The intimacy and connection it invited created one of my favorite experiences in 15 years of Burning Man... it was an honor to create a soundscape.

Even though I recorded this mix in my small New Zealand quarantine hotel room, ‘the lagoon’ is a very real place. Last time this year, a small group of friends and I threw a secret bonfire moonrise party at this undisclosed location and I played a set there. This year I can sadly not be there, but I recorded a set with the event in mind. The result is over two and a half hours of eclectic psychedelic sounds. Channel your own inner lagoon the way I did over the past two days putting this set together.

Henry is a Canadian based dj and producer who has been playing underground parties and festivals for 30 years. But his love of dance music goes further back. At age 4 he bought his first club single and his brother-in-law owned the best discotheque in town, in the 70’s he had heard a majority of the club classics first hand. Learning with turntables in 1987, Henry eventually settled on djing house music in 1995. 

His dj’ing quickly became one of the pillars of the house/progressive house scene on the West Coast, influencing and mentoring many Dj’s who now play in this space today. 

Henry currently plays between deep, organic house, breakbeat and techno.
