Tyme draws his knowledge and understanding from past experiences that have shown him the importance of knowing and teaching. At the age of 9, his family encountered the American dilemma of divorce, which gave him a license to get involved with the wrong crowd despite his Christian upbringing. "That tore me up, I saw arguments and fights, yet we were a Christian family," said Tyme.

 Tyme decided to go back to his roots of spirituality without a specific religious faith.
