Time-traveling-turnt-team Bad Royale matures their sound on the Immutable Timeline EP, their second EP on Mad Decent. Starting things off of the right foot, “The Royale Anthem” and “Dutty Heart" featuring Richie Loop and IAmStylezMusic respectively, kick off the release with familiar but fresh vibes - like coming home to your pet iguana in a new parka and shoes. To follow that up, we hear Konshens and the guys linking up for “All We Need Is Love,” a pop record guaranteed to make you fall in love in the club. “Bun It Up" jumps into the full-out party side of things with Bunji Garlin. Bunji Garlin complements the track to create a finished product worthy of any set. Finally, “Suit of Black” featuring Suit Of Black - the Caribbean dream team comprised of Kardinal Offishall, Bunji Garlin and Assassin aka Agent Sasco - is a straight up dancehall hitter that perfectly closes out this beautiful gauntlet of an EP.

The Houston, Texas native branches out a little on his first solo release for Mad Decent. "Go Crazy" sees Ape Drums with guest Dougie F and showing their ability to appeal to the radio without pandering and staying true to their roots. Following up "Go Crazy," Ape goes back to his roots with a destructive dancehall smash featuring Major Lazer and Busy Signal. "The Way We Do This" may sound familiar to some as it highlights one of biggest dancehall riddims of the late 90's that still get rinsed to this day. Ape Drums breathes new light into the beat and creates something soon to be the soundtrack to 1,000 vine dances. Ape Drums is about to take over; 2016 is definitely his year!
